The Northwest Football Awards is proud to announce that the Women’s Manager of the Season Award will be renamed to the Matt Beard Women’s Manager of the Season Award, in honour of the late Matt Beard.
We wanted to honour Matt’s legacy in a way that truly reflects his contribution to the sport and we are deeply grateful to his family for allowing us to rename the Women’s Manager of the Season Award in his memory.
A true pioneer of the women’s game, Matt is sorely missed across the entire football family.
The newly named award will be presented by Matt’s brother, Mark, at this year’s awards dinner on Monday 3rd November at the .
