*** RECOVERED & REUNITED *** This falcon has been spotted in the MK18 area of Buckinghamshire. If you think this is your bird, please contact me. It does have identifiable equipment on but I'm not sure if there is a transmitter. I can't see any reported missing in this area on my map but it could have come from anywhere. Thanks. Babs

I would just like to explain how I work and hopefully answer all of the questions and comments that attached themselves to my posts about found birds.
The most important thing is firstly, if you lose a bird, let me know and so the ring number can go on the database.
When a bird is found and it is wearing a ring, the first thing I do is check to see if it has been reported missing. If that bird has been reported missing, I will contact that owner straight away.
If it hasn't and the bird is wearing a breeders ring, I will then contact the breeder to try and find out who the bird went to or if the ring is on my database, I will contact the person who I have it shown to, to try and trace the current owner.
If all of these enquiries prove negative, I will then put a post up on my page to try and trace the owner that way.

*** RECOVERED & REUNITED *** Harris Hawk is missing in the North London area and was last sighted around Euston on the 3rd April. He is wearing a transmitter. Guys in the Horsham area of West Sussex, please can you keep a look out for Bolt, a male Kestrel. He should be easy to spot as he is wearing an orange tracker on his back and leather straps on his legs. Please contact me with any POSITIVE sightings. Thanks. Babs

Stunning Eagle Owl spotted near Whitby, North Yorkshire wearing anklets. If anyone has any information about the bird, please MESSAGE me. Thanks. Babs

This hybrid falcon has been spotted in Cambridge City Centre harrassing the local wild Peregrines. The bird does not appear to be wearing any equipment and has a good crop so obviously feeding OK. If anyone knows anything about this falcon, please contact me. Thanks. Babs
