Oldbury FC say it must be the new “lucky” kits that they have.

They were 2-0 down on aggregate.

They played the second leg this afternoon and smashed it.

3-0 winners today (Agg 3-2) and progress to the final.

The Enniscorthy Stealers U14 boys travelled to Kilkenny on Saturday morning to compete in the Final 4 playoffs of the KKSE League, marking a fantastic achievement for the team after a season of hard work and development.
In the semi-final, the Stealers faced Tipp Titans in what proved to be an exciting and high-energy contest. From the opening tip, the Slaney siders showed great composure and teamwork, moving the ball well and creating scoring opportunities. Their defensive effort was equally impressive, limiting the Titans' chances throughout the game. The Stealers produced some brilliant passages of basketball and were rewarded with a well-deserved victory, finishing with a strong 40–20 scoreline to book their place in the final.
The final saw the Stealers come up against a very strong Wexford Blazers side. Despite their best efforts and determination, it was not to be their day. The Blazers delivered a powerful performance, executing well on both ends of the court and ultimately taking the win. While the result didn’t go their way, the Stealers showed great character and never gave up, continuing to battle until the final whistle.
The club could not be prouder of the boys for the effort, commitment, and sportsmanship they displayed not only on the day but throughout the entire season. Reaching the Final 4 is a testament to their dedication and growth as a team.
A special word of thanks goes to Anthony for the tremendous work he has put in over the course of the year, and to Neil for stepping in to coach the team on the day. Their contribution has played a vital role in the team’s success.
Well done to all involved in what has been a memorable and successful season for the Enniscorthy Stealers U14 boys. The Club would like to thank the Enniscorthy Credit Union for their valued support throughout the year and congratulate Wexford Basketball Club, it shows that basketball is truly back alive and strong in Wexford again.
