2026 is here!

If you’ve got burning idea you want to explore or you’ve started work on a show that needs more development, then our artist-in-residence programme is for you!

We’re looking to commission three Dance Artists to join Company Chameleon at our studio for a four-week residency in Autumn 2026.

The residency is an opportunity to develop new or unfinished work, with the support of:
💫 £2000 towards project costs.
💫 Four-week residency of free studio space.
💫 Mentoring and support from Company Chameleon’s creative team.
💫 Opportunity to perform at our November platform – a chance to share up to 20 minutes of your work and receive feedback in a supportive environment.

Are you age 11-21 and love to dance?

Then don't miss the opportunity to audition for our youth dance company, and make dance your craft through training and connecting with one of the UK’s leading dance companies.

The opportunity to audition only happens once a year and this year’s Open Audition is coming up in July.

Company Chameleon is offering the exciting opportunity for two experienced Company Dancers to join our core creative team in a full-time salaried position with the Company at our home studio in Manchester, UK.

We’d love to hear from you if you’re an experienced dance artist who has received training from a recognised school or conservatoire, and you have:

💫Excellent contemporary technique and contact improvisation / partnering skills
💫At least two years experience working in a professional touring dance company
💫Extensive performance experience
💫Familiarity and openness to different choreographic approaches
💫Proficient teaching skills and experience of teaching dance with different age groups

Whether you're seeking to enhance your technique, reconnect with your passion for dance, or simply enjoy a fun and energising workout this new year, this class offers something for everyone.

Led by our Associate Artists and our team of wonderful freelancers, Adult Class offers a friendly introduction to contemporary dance.

Along with developing your dance skills and feeling good through movement, you’ll learn the fundamentals of contemporary dance practice with a focus on technique, vocabulary and phrases.
