Three more medals for Great Britain at the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships! 🇬🇧

The Downhill finals delivered another brilliant day for Great Britain yesterday in Val di Sole, just two days after three silver medals in the Cross-Country. 🙌

On a steep and technical course, Britain added another silver and two bronzes to the medal haul:

🥈 Felix Griffiths: Junior Men’s Downhill, missing out on the rainbow jersey by just 0.45 seconds

🥉 Harriet Harnden: Elite Women’s Downhill

🥉 Jordan Williams: Elite Men’s Downhill, finishing just 0.702 seconds off the winning time

There were more impressive performances throughout the Downhill finals, with Sebastian Sumner, Elliot Smith and Tahnee Seagrave all securing top-10 finishes. 👏

A huge congratulations to every British rider who battled through qualification to earn their place in the finals 👏

Another great day on the mountain for Great Britain 💪

🤝 Meet the Member: Tom and Chloe 🥹

“Family ability is greater than individual disability” 👏

In a true testament to inspiration and the joy of cycling, Chloe, inspired by her Dad’s Lands End to John O’Groats ride back in 2007, decided that she wanted to give it a go.

Despite her disability the pair have not allowed that define what Chloe can and can’t do and so have embarked on an epic journey 💪

Our Lloyds ReCycle Hubs are helping to give pre-loved bikes a new lease of life and making cycling more accessible to people in their local communities.

One of our original pilot hubs in Halifax, St Augustine’s Centre, are creating opportunities for people to access bikes, learn new skills and experience the freedom that cycling can bring.

Following the success of our five pilot hubs, British Cycling and Lloyds are delighted to be funding eight new Lloyds ReCycle Hubs, helping the programme reach even more people across the country. 🙌
