We managed to run out 6-5 winners at the end of what turned out to be a very entertaining game of football. 1-0 down, to 5-2 up at the break, to 5-5 with 15 mins to go … Shows what a topsy turvy game of football it was.

Was a pleasure to share the pitch with such a great bunch of lads and hopefully we can get a return fixture sorted with Sands United FC Manchester in the not too distant future.

Fresh off the back of winning the IFA League for a second consecutive year, and making it to the Semi Final of this years WorldNet, we’re looking forward to getting back on the pitch in what promises to be a great encounter 🫱🏻🫲🏻

Quarter final - 3-1 win vs Manchester United
Semi final - 1-1 draw vs Lens, 4-2 loss on pens

Decent end to the weekend considering only 12 players available and a few were carrying injuries.

Not the best end to the season as a poor showing on Saturday morning saw us go down 6-3 to Internet Mariners FC over in Grimsby. Take nothing away from Grimsby and their performance, played very well and punished us when it mattered.

Defeat means we finish the season with a record of 9 wins and 2 losses from 11 games played. It’s enough to see us finish the season as IFA champions for a second season running.

All eyes now turn to WorldNet a week on Saturday where we are drawn in the group stages against Transpennine Irons (West Ham), Watford and a mystery team still to be announced.

We’ll keep you all updated throughout the group stages on the Saturday and the knockouts on the Sunday.

Final league game of the season this morning sees us head over to Grimsby to take on Internet Mariners FC

We’re looking for our 10th win from 11 games to cap off a great season for the lads and get some well needed minutes in the legs before the annual WorldNet tournament in two weeks time

Unfortunately we couldn’t quite make it to double figures on our win streak as we go down 1-0 at home to a very good Preston North End Supporters FC team

Yes it’s a cliché … but the negative result doesn’t quite tell the full story of the game from our point of view

We battled from start to finish, left everything out on the field, defended really well throughout, created numerous chances that weren’t finished like we normally do and we controlled the majority of the game.

One small lapse in concentration cost us in a very entertaining game but we’ll be back better and stronger in our next game 100%

🇾🇪 SEFC ran out 9-0 winners in the end in this mornings encounter with Shrewsbury Town Supporters FC.

Relentless from the first whistle to the last, went in 6-0 up at half time and controlled the game to the very end. Also a well earned first clean sheet of the season to go with a commanding attacking performance.
