Welcome to our new project at Northwich Library for Cheshire West and Chester Council.

Works commenced onsite last month, and the project is due to be complete in 2027.

The works include extensive repairs to the timber frame and the masonry infill panels, all the roofs are being stripped and re-instated with new breather membrane and upgrades to make the building more energy efficient. There is also a full fit out internally, with a new platform lift and ramp to improve the accessibility for users.

Progress update on The Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital Project.

A full scaffold temporary roof has been erected; the existing roof has been fully stripped. All internal strip out and demolition works are now complete including electrical & mechanical, existing fixtures & fittings, partitions and ceilings, to allow the installation of the scaffold crash deck.

Current works involve the removal of the RAAC concrete panels at roof level, steel installation to support the timber truss roof in place of the removed concrete panels.

The next steps will be a full vented re roof, removal of the scaffold crash deck ready for a full reconfiguration of the first floor to achieve a number of modern office spaces, toilet facilities, break out rooms and a beverage bay.

Big milestone reached at Earlestown Town Hall

With first fix MEP works now complete, the project moves into the next exciting stage, the finishing trades.

Heritage plaster works are continuing to breathe life back into the building, restoring original spaces and celebrating their historic character. At the same time, second fix joinery has commenced, carefully preserving original features while incorporating modern-day craftsmanship and techniques.

A great blend of old and new as this landmark continues its transformation. More progress to come.
