🇿🇦 The countdown is finally over… today we set off for South Africa! ✈️

For both Dave and I, this is a true bucket list adventure and one we’ve been looking forward to for many months. The excitement has been building for what feels like forever, and we honestly can’t believe the day is finally here!

While we’re away, you’ll still see plenty of scheduled travel posts appearing on the page, so there’ll still be lots of inspiration, tips and holiday ideas to enjoy. However, if you’re looking for a last-minute deal or a late getaway, this is one occasion where I won’t be able to help. I’m making a conscious decision to be fully present, soak up every moment and enjoy this incredible experience.

We may share a few highlights along the way on our Stories, so if you’d like to follow our adventure, keep an eye out. From safari game drives, stunning scenery to rugby! We can’t wait to experience everything South Africa has to offer.

This is quite possibly our biggest travel adventure yet, and I’m already looking forward to sharing all our photos, stories and recommendations with you when we’re back.
