This was Milo’s ideal walk this morning. It took forever apart from the excitement of cars on the A60 being game on😳 back to basic training around traffic.

Now hoping all the things he found out about keep him dreaming 😴 and Clay HQ survives a busy day!

Wish me luck 😂

Today might be called 'Blue Monday,' but let's turn it into a day of positivity and motivation.

Apart from a bit of mud, the weather was perfect for our walk today.

Sarah took some beautiful photos, too.

I am already looking forward to our next walk on Saturday, 24th February.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Post from a local Beekeeper 🐝
“Its late, and maybe in the morning I'll delete this post, but I've just got home and for now I need to write this down.
Earlier this evening I received a message from a home owner to say they had a swarm of bees in their hedge, but they were worried about them because children had been throwing water at them.
By the time my fellow beekeeper and I arrived, what had been a beautiful prime swarm was reduced to a few hundred drenched bees, huddling limply around their queen.
I've already deleted the photos of the puddles of water, the dripping wet hedge, and the many, many dead and dying bees that hadn't been able to escape the attack; sharing those pictures serves no purpose.
We gently placed the bees that had survived into a collection box, and hopefully tomorrow, when they've had chance to dry out and settle, we'll check on them and if necessary feed them; they'll be exhausted and possibly (understandably) defensive. They've been through a lot.
Please, please, help me to educate your children, your grandchildren, your neices and nephews, your neighbours, your colleagues and your friends that a swarm of bees isn't dangerous - they're amazing creatures that are just looking for a new home.
Please don't let anyone harm them. Just call a beekeeper who will gladly rehome them.
Please help me to spread this message and hopefully save any more bees from being unnecessarily harmed” 😢
- A Sad and unhappy Beekeeper

It is not very often I win a raffle prize, so I didn't hesitate to pick up a voucher kindly donated by BTST Osteopathy and Sports Massage Clinic

I had been at one of Becky's presentations a couple of months before, where she reminded us that we need to keep moving along with a great presentation on how they help with everything Osteopathy.

Check out their page for more info and I can't wait to use my voucher in the new year.

Thank you.

Reflection Friday! We don’t learn from experiences. We learn from reflecting on the experience.

It's important to remember that this time of year can leave us feeling a mix of emotions. For some, it can be a time of grief, stress, and feeling overwhelmed.

However, taking care of ourselves and seeking support if needed is essential. Don't hesitate to reach out for help. You are not alone; someone will always listen and support you.

The weather outside today is frightful.

The rain didn't stop us from wrapping up and walking at Thoresby Park this morning.

Walking, talking, getting things off our chests and laughing in the rain, we all agreed, made us feel fresh and alive by the end of the walk.

We are already looking forward to our next walk on Saturday, 6th January 2024, when we will venture on a new trail.

Until then, enjoy the Christmas holidays, stay safe, and we will see you on the other side.🎄🤶🏼🎅🏼❄️

Resilience is like a superpower for navigating life's twists and turns! Here's why it's so crucial:

🔷When life throws curveballs, big and small, Resilience helps us bounce back from setbacks, whether it's a tough day at work or a significant life change.

🔷It shields us against stress, anxiety, and burnout. Building Resilience means having better coping mechanisms for tough times.

🔷When we see obstacles as opportunities, it's not just about getting back to normal but using challenges as chances to learn and grow.

🔷 Resilience makes us better equipped to support others and build deeper connections. It's the glue that keeps communities and relationships strong.

🔷It's that inner fire that keeps us going toward our dreams, even when the going gets tough.

Resilience helps us weather storms and become more assertive on the other side.

At times, I didn't realise how much Resilience I had developed through life's storms until I took time to reflect.

Working through end-of-life care when losing Mum (I wouldn't accept that we were about to lose her) gave me the strength and understanding of what I needed to do when I found myself going through the same with Dad five years later.

Have you taken time to reflect on the Resilience you have built while weathering life storms?

He's back walking 😍

Being out of action meant he was on squirrel watch even more on his walk today.

On a personal note, it was nice to feel the crisp cold air and be able to use this time to reflect.

Can you make time to reflect today?

Navigating Christmas 2023 29/11/2023

As November comes to a close, the festive season of 2023 is upon us.

This can be a time of added pressure as you reach end-of-year targets and plan for quarter one of 2024.

A time you leave work late and miss out on family commitments after ensuring you have supported our communities in their hour of need and ensuring their festivities go to plan.

A time you know you will not be around for the big day as your commitment takes you away from your family this Christmas.

This is a time to remember you are valued and be kind to yourself.

Take a minute to read the latest RTSC blog, and contact me if you want to discuss navigating your Christmas 2023.

That look of I know I have a poorly leg but you haven’t walked me for three days now 😬😂

The joy of owning RTSC Milo 🙈🥰

A personal reflection today.

Starting out building RTSC on 24th September 21, full of dreams, determination and drive to support people in their personal growth and mental well-being, has carved opportunities that have blown me away and seen me build resilience that, at times, I had to dig deep to find.

Building a business is rewarding and challenging at the same time. I have learnt that the journey for RTSC is a marathon, not a sprint. Most importantly, I could not have gotten RTSC or me to where we are today without the support of the following people.

My clients and the opportunity to work in collaboration with City Auction Group

My family and friends for being my cheerleaders and supporting me unconditionally.

Darren Betteridge, thank you for all your continued support in putting a business direction around RTSC.

Richard Godley for working in collaboration around well-being activities.

Mansfield & Ashfield 2020 for the opportunity to network and create valuable contacts to help build my business skills.

Thank you so much.

P.S. It is sometimes the small things that get us the most. Arriving at Portland House to find the RTSC plague made me stop for a moment, making my eyes leak.

What a journey, and it's only just beginning.

Make time for reflection today, and have a great weekend.
