Armchair Club

It's always so good to share updates from Owen Speirs and his karting exploits. He and his dad Derek picked up next seasons 7kart chassis at the event held at Silverstone at the end of November, and on 4 December Owen was invited down to TeamSport Karting in Harlow for a fun driving event where he was presented with the 2021 F160 championship trophy 🏆 - a great end to the sprint and endurance season.

Owen and Derek (aka ) were invited to attend the Mansfield sports recognition awards held at the civic centre on the 6 December hosted by the Armchair Club and other local businesses. Owen was honoured to be nominated amongst the top local sportspeople including Charlotte Henshaw paralympian gold medalist and the 2021 World canoeing champion. He was also nominated for the Maurice Brackenbury Team Award and was unbelievably surprised to win!

Owen has also been interviewed by Mansfield 103.2 and hopefully should be on air today at 13.00,16.00,17.00,18.00.
Hi guys.
I am asking for sponsorship if anyone could help us out!

Callum and myself are doing a sponsored swim on Saturday 10th October at water meadows in Mansfield. Our very own Rebecca Adlington will be there to support the swimmers as will olly hinds and Charlotte henshaw. The event is being held by the rotary club Mansfield and the Armchair Club who have supported Callum Mills massively throughout his ice skating journey. Half the money we raise will go to Mansfield rotary club and the Armchair club. I am asking for the other half to be split between inclusive skating and the Rob George Foundation. We hope you can help us in some small way to raise money for all three charities.
