Progression isn’t always linear 📈

Part of training is that it has its ups and it’s downs, but it’s not the downs that define you. It’s how you come back stronger from the💪🏻

Josh Head Coach - Kings Hill 🫡

Some big news to share this week at Kings Hill.

Josh has been promoted to Head Coach at Kings Hill.

Josh put himself forward for the role, went through a full recruitment process against external candidates, and impressed the leadership team from start to finish.

He hasn’t been with us for long, but he’s already made a real impact on the floor, introducing new procedures, driving standards, and showing natural leadership within the team.

As well as inspiring the whole community with his recent qualification of the ATHX World Championships in Lisbon this November.

You’ll continue to see Josh doing what he does best.
Coaching, supporting members, upholding our ethos and helping to build the Kings Hill community into something special.

Please join us in congratulating Josh👏🏽

Well earned!🫡

Meet our team member Henry 👋🏽

We’re continuing our series on the career journeys of our Brigade Fitness team and Henry’s path here wasn’t a straight line, but it led him exactly where he needed to be.

Henry lived in Australia until he was 8, where his love for sport and fitness first started playing rugby.

Fast forward 9 years, and his first idea of a career was media/video editing, working weekend shifts at his local Tesco warehouse alongside it during year 12 and 13.

A knee injury playing rugby in year 13 led him to the gym, for recovery, to bulk up, and for his own body confidence. He fell in love with it fast, and rugby took a back seat.

After school, still with no clear direction, he took a job at Spring Grove Prep School in Wye, working seven days a week alongside Tesco.

It taught him how much he loves helping people learn and grow.

When that chapter ended, he still didn’t know what was next, but he knew he loved the gym. That led him to PT courses, and that’s when he found Brigade.

He finished his qualification and was offered a position as assistant coach at Marden.

Now a coach, and over the past 20 months his confidence has grown massively. Working closely with Kane on the social media side of things has been a big part of that too.

Swipe to see more of his journey 👉🏽

More team stories coming soon👀
