Spencer Melksham Bowls Club

Well done to our ladies for 2 days of cracking bowls.

Yesterday the Panthers took on Chippenham park, taking a 45-19 win. The Jaguars took on Calne and won 38-28.

Tonight our Bowls wiltshire team faced Calne and won 44-18.

Well done ladies keep up the amazing work 👏💪

Well done in the club two fours a 46-19 win againist Chippenham Park and we now play Holt in the Semi Final.

We won 84-60 (12-2) againist Wilton last night. Martin Holmes, Alan Pullin, Dave Laws & Matt Edwards scored a Hot Shot 8

We lost 3-2 to holt in top club. In a very close game the result came down to one shot in the singles . Great effort by the team.

Claire, Jayne and Riley had a fantastic game in the BW ladies triples. Only missing out on the next round by 3 shots.

Alan G had a very long 28 end match today, against Keith Sanders at Amesbury in the Bowls England Champion of Champions coming out the winner 21 to 20. He is now in the Wiltshire Semi-Final 👏👏

Good luck to all our teams taking part in the National QF and hopefully Semis this weekend.

10am Saturday Salisbury Bowling Club Riley, Jayne and Claire play Calne in the Ladies Triples QF.

10am Sunday Westlecot Bowls Club Alan, Kev and Rich take on RWB in the Men’s Triples QF.

If both sides win they will then play the Semi Final at 2pm at the same venue. Good Luck to to all.

For those of you who can’t get enough of bowls Sunday evening at 6:30pm at the club we play Chippenham Park in the QF of the Club Two Fours.

Alan G, Kev and Rich are through to the 1/4 finals of the mens national triples and being played at Westlecott next Sunday 14/5.

Jayne, Claire and Riley are through to the ladies national triples 1/4 final and playing at Salisbury next Saturday 13/5.

Matt and Claire through to 1/4 final of mixed pairs and playing next round Sunday at Salisbury

Alan G is also through to 1/4 final of champion of champions

Club 2 x 4s and men's top club are also at 1/4 final stage.

Matt, Claire,Kev/ Reece and Jane also got through to the semis of mixed 4s

Alan G has made it to the 1/4 finals of the over 60s singles.

Sharon and Alan G have made it through to the next round of the foundation pairs.

Viv Edwards and Anne Hutchinson are through to the next round of the BE ladies pairs!

Great win tonight for the Men in the Bowls England top club competition winning 3-2 against Wilton.

Next game will be at home vs Avon or Holt.
