This is what autumn looks like at Clint Lodge, and we think it might be the most beautiful season this place has to offer. The countryside around us is doing something spectacular right now, the house feels warmer and cosier than ever, and there is nothing better than coming back from a day walking the Borders to one of Suzie's warming homemade dinners.

This is your reminder that the Scottish Borders exists, that autumn weekends away are deeply underrated, and that homemade shortbread by an open fire is one of life's great pleasures.
