🏆🌟🔴 DOUBLE AWARD WINNERS 🔴 🌟🏆
So incredibly proud of these two girls who not only represent us every week, but also pull on the shirt for Cleveland Juniors on a Sunday.
One of the things I love most is hearing positive comments about our players from opposition managers. When people tak their time to praise your attitude, ability and work ethic, it says everything about the type of player and person you are.
A special mention to Mourne and everyone involved at Cleveland Juniors for helping support and develop these girls along the way. 👏⚽
🥇 Elsie had an unbelievable season, winning the Golden Boot as top goalscorer for Mourne's team. As if that wasn't enough, she was also awarded the Frank Rush Memorial Trophy.
This isn't just another award. It is presented to ONE player across the entire Cleveland Juniors club each season and recognises outstanding achievement, dedication and contribution. Elsie received it for everything she has accomplished this year, including her performances for both teams, earning a place with Durham Academy and being recognised by Dortmund.
A fantastic achievement and one that is thoroughly deserved. The scary thing is she's only just getting started. 💙
🏆 Rebeka was awarded Manager's Player of the Year, an award that reflects so much more than goals and assists.
It recognises commitment, attitude, effort, reliability and the standards you set for yourself and those around you. Every coach loves players they can depend on, and Rebeka is exactly that. Week after week she gives everything for her team, works hard, listens, learns and continues to improve.
A brilliant achievement and one she should be extremely proud of. 👏
Both girls are fantastic examples of what can be achieved through hard work, dedication and a willingness to keep learning. 💙⚽

🏆 LEAGUE & CUP OVER! 🏆
That’s officially the end of the season for the girls ❤️⚽
It may not have finished exactly how they wanted, but when we look back at this season, these girls should be unbelievably proud of themselves.
With SIX new players coming into the squad — some completely brand new to football — this team still managed to take points from an unbeaten side and finish SECOND in the league 👏🔥
At the start of the season there were plenty of doubts around this team… but we believed from day one, and the girls who stayed loyal, kept believing and stuck together have been rewarded ever since 💙
From travelling to Spain 🇪🇸, playing teams all over the country, making memories with their best friends and now heading into an exciting summer of tournaments… these girls are getting experiences they’ll never forget ☀️🏆⚽
What we have now is an unbelievable group with talent, character and so much potential. Still lots to improve, but that’s what we do best 💪
We are STILL the ONLY team in the TJFA at this age group to have players offered academy places — and every single year we’ve had players move on into academy football 👏
This year alone we’ve had TWO more players offered places at Durham Academy 🔥
And word on the street is… we’re the ONLY team this year AGAIN 😉⚽
We also want to say a MASSIVE thank you to every team we’ve played this season 👏⚽
And a huge well done to all the kids we’ve played against and made friends with along the way, as well as all the opposition parents and managers too ❤️
Grassroots football is about memories, friendships and experiences — and this season has given the girls plenty of all three 💙
Now it’s time for tournament season!!! 🏆🔥

Tomorrow the girls step into the League Cup Semi-Final as they take on Boro Rangers Girls Reds 💪
The Reds have shown massive improvement, finishing their season on a real high — exactly how you’d want to go into a game like this. It’s going to be a tough test, no doubt.
But our girls are ready. Focused. Determined. Together. 💙
Let’s hope they rise to the occasion and put in a performance to be proud of 👊

What an absolutely unforgettable experience this has been for the girls 🤩✨
So much to tell over the next week or so… and trust me, there is some HUGE news still to come 👀🚨
But for now…
WOW. Just WOW. 💥
These girls stepped up against players from all over the world 🌍 — Australia, Germany, Spain and more ⚽🔥
And they didn’t just compete… they made a statement 💪
Going head-to-head with top level opposition and only suffering one defeat… against an unbelievable Dortmund academy side, with players up to 13 years old 😮👏
The effort. The passion. The teamwork. ❤️
When I say they’ve done us proud… it honestly doesn’t even come close 🙌
These girls have been NOTHING short of incredible 💙
