Lets not talk about the tan ok ๐
I just wanted to talk about the lil mindset shift I had on holiday.
This holiday was pretty special (obviously it was my hen do duh ๐) it was the first holiday EVER that I wore a full bikini.
I normally have some form of shorts on.
This is the first holiday since 2018 so my body is definitely different & so is my mindset.
Im not in the shape id like to be & there are some insecurities bubbling under the surface, butโฆ
The thing I realised is no one cares โ
No one is pointing or staring โ
Everyone is just focused on themselves & getting sweet tan (not jealous at all ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ)
My point in this post is to remind you that life is short, too short to be consumed by your thoughts about your body.
But that its ok & completely normal to have insecurities about your body but you donโt have to let them stop you from living ๐ฅฐ
No one can say they are 100% happy in their body & you never will be.
But you can learn to love your body for the amazing fact it keeps you alive & supports you every single day ๐๐ป

But I am so much more confident & happier in my skin than before and that matters soooo much more๐๐ป

What started off as a fat-loss journey transformed into her taking control of her life & putting herself first.
She has dealt with soo much over the last year & a bit. But she is so much stronger mentally to deal with it.
Which has helped her not throw the towel in ๐๐ป
She is in a much better place to start focusing back on fat-lose now.

You can change a lot in a year ๐๐ป
0.5kg (1lbs) mind not sound like a lot of weight loss right?
If you achieved that in a year you would be disappointed wouldnโt you?
Of course you would & Jo agreed ๐
But then she also said that the lifestyle & mindset changes she has made are MORE IMPORTANT.
Because she will never have to worry about gaining the weight back โ
After a big diet we took a step back & pushed up food & focused on training, nutrition, sleep, self-care & mindset work.
She has put in 12 months of hard work doing the s**t people donโt want to do because it doesnโt get results straight away.
She isnโt done โ
We are in Joโs final dieting phase now (pretty much for good, well with big dieting).
All that hard work will show ๐ช๐ป
Then we get her into a maintenance phase so she can live her life never having to worry about dieting again ๐๐ป
That is the definition of a successful diet โ
Not 8 weeks or starving yourself & training yourself into the ground.
Only to gain all the weight back after you stop โ

Are you a slimming club member?
Well listen up ๐๐ป
Im all for finding your approach to fat-loss but in a safe & sustainable way.
Doing something that fits you & your lifestyle โ
Not something that forces you to cut out most foods cause you know syns ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
(Donโt even get me started on that term ๐คฌ)
Definitely not something that shames you in front of a group of people for โONLYโ losing 3lbs that week ๐คฏ
(Unqualified people running these groups btw that know f**k all ๐ค)
Slimming world is literally set up so you fail & have to return over & over & over again.
Hows that a successful diet??
Sarah was in the exact same position you are right now.
She was returning to slimming world to give it one last shot.
But then she reached out to me ๐ฅฐ
And the last 8 monthsโฆ

Are the scales ruining your progress?

We have been through a fat-loss phase going from 66kg to 60kg, to then maintaining & coming out of a diet completely.
