First session with tonight ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

We are going to be working on building some muscle, getting stronger & more fitter ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

Measurements are taken, targets are set & we are going to smash it ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Tonight we focused on the basics, going over form & making sure we have a solid foundation to build on.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿป Prioritising protein & fuelling her body properly
๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿป Rest days & sleep ๐Ÿ’ค

Those are the big 3 targets that will ensure libby achieves her goals ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

Lets not talk about the tan ok ๐Ÿ˜‚

I just wanted to talk about the lil mindset shift I had on holiday.

This holiday was pretty special (obviously it was my hen do duh ๐Ÿ˜‚) it was the first holiday EVER that I wore a full bikini.

I normally have some form of shorts on.

This is the first holiday since 2018 so my body is definitely different & so is my mindset.

Im not in the shape id like to be & there are some insecurities bubbling under the surface, butโ€ฆ

The thing I realised is no one cares โŒ

No one is pointing or staring โŒ

Everyone is just focused on themselves & getting sweet tan (not jealous at all ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ)

My point in this post is to remind you that life is short, too short to be consumed by your thoughts about your body.

But that its ok & completely normal to have insecurities about your body but you donโ€™t have to let them stop you from living ๐Ÿฅฐ

No one can say they are 100% happy in their body & you never will be.

But you can learn to love your body for the amazing fact it keeps you alive & supports you every single day ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

But I am so much more confident & happier in my skin than before and that matters soooo much more๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

You can change a lot in a year ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

0.5kg (1lbs) mind not sound like a lot of weight loss right?

If you achieved that in a year you would be disappointed wouldnโ€™t you?

Of course you would & Jo agreed ๐Ÿ˜Š

But then she also said that the lifestyle & mindset changes she has made are MORE IMPORTANT.

Because she will never have to worry about gaining the weight back โŒ

After a big diet we took a step back & pushed up food & focused on training, nutrition, sleep, self-care & mindset work.

She has put in 12 months of hard work doing the s**t people donโ€™t want to do because it doesnโ€™t get results straight away.

She isnโ€™t done โŒ

We are in Joโ€™s final dieting phase now (pretty much for good, well with big dieting).

All that hard work will show ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

Then we get her into a maintenance phase so she can live her life never having to worry about dieting again ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

That is the definition of a successful diet โœ…

Not 8 weeks or starving yourself & training yourself into the ground.

Only to gain all the weight back after you stop โŒ

Are you a slimming club member?

Well listen up ๐Ÿ‘‚๐Ÿป

Im all for finding your approach to fat-loss but in a safe & sustainable way.

Doing something that fits you & your lifestyle โœ…

Not something that forces you to cut out most foods cause you know syns ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

(Donโ€™t even get me started on that term ๐Ÿคฌ)

Definitely not something that shames you in front of a group of people for โ€˜ONLYโ€™ losing 3lbs that week ๐Ÿคฏ

(Unqualified people running these groups btw that know f**k all ๐Ÿค”)

Slimming world is literally set up so you fail & have to return over & over & over again.

Hows that a successful diet??

Sarah was in the exact same position you are right now.

She was returning to slimming world to give it one last shot.

Are the scales ruining your progress?

The scales can be a complicated tool to use if you donโ€™t understand them.

We have been through a fat-loss phase going from 66kg to 60kg, to then maintaining & coming out of a diet completely.
