🏆 League Cup – Semi-Final 🏆

⚽️ BR Gold vs Norton & Stockton ⚽️

The girls went 2–0 down early in the first half but responded well, growing into the game and creating a couple of good chances that might have brought it back to 2–2 by the break. Unfortunately, a third goal conceded right before half-time made it a tougher task.

They showed great effort in the second half, but found it difficult to cope with Norton’s passing, with the opposition eventually securing a comfortable win.

Best of luck to Norton in the final, where they’ll take on our sister team, Boro Rangers Reds! ⚽️

🏆 League Cup - Quarter Final 🏆

⚽️ BR Gold V Pools Youth ⚽️

A strong performance from the girls saw them progress into the cup semi-final after a well-earned victory over Pools Youth.

From the first whistle, the girls were on top, dominating possession and creating chance after chance. Only an inspired performance from the Pools goalkeeper kept the scoreline down, with a series of excellent saves denying what could have been an even bigger lead. Despite that resistance, the breakthrough came and the girls deservedly went into half-time in front.

Pools came out fighting in the second half and managed to pull a goal back, but it never knocked the girls off their stride. They maintained their intensity, continued to press forward, and controlled the game well to prevent any real comeback.

A brilliant team performance from start to finish—well done girls! Onto the cup semi-final 👏⚽

Yesterday the girls faced a very strong Norton side. We knew from the outset it was going to be a tough challenge against a well-organised team, especially with a few of our players missing.

Despite that, the girls battled hard from start to finish and stuck to their individual roles brilliantly. Their effort, teamwork and determination were fantastic to see.

Really proud of every single one of them – not just for how they played, but for the attitude they showed throughout the game. ⚽

⚽️ BR Gold V Pools Youth ⚽️

A frustrating watch today as the girls didn’t play as well as we know they can. Credit to Pools who gave us a really good game and made it difficult throughout.

⚽️ BR Gold V Wolviston ⚽️

A dominant display of football from the girls today, setting the tone from the very first whistle. From kick-off, their intent was clear — high energy, sharp passing, and relentless pressing that kept the opposition on the back foot throughout.

⚽️ Friendly V Linthorpe ⚽️

With two weekends without league fixtures, we’d like to thank Linthorpe for kindly hosting a friendly for our girls today.

With both sides missing a few players, we weren’t quite sure how the game would pan out. However, our girls set the tone from the very first whistle, dominating from kick-off and creating chance after chance. Their hard work and teamwork paid off as they found the back of the net multiple times.

Well done to the three girls who stepped up to play in goal today 🧤.
