Well this was the last game of the season to the league winners pools youth whites and what a game it was,one chance one goal.
The scoreline might say otherwise but both teams where at the top of there games today, this was end to end, hard challenges going in both teams putting it on the line. Very few chances in this game with both teams missing the odd 1 or 2 chances created but just before half time pools youth broke free and what a strike it was 😳 worthy of winning any game and this proved to be the case. 2nd half Riverside just edged it but couldn’t create that 1 clear chance. Well done to pools youth whites on the win. To finish the game off the riverside lads gave the league winners the guard of honour which was a brilliant gesture 👏

Well after a couple of sloppy games we needed to put something right after our 2-2 draw with Cleveland juniors. And we certainly did that!
After falling behind on 5 minutes to a good Clevo attack the boys woke up. After constant attacks and hitting the woodwork we get a penalty just before half time 1-1.
Riverside came flying out in the 2nd half and soon foun themselves 2-1 up.
Then comes the game changer with riverside on top…….. red card Clevo!!!
After this it was all riverside and the score soon became 3-1,4-1,5-1,6-1.
With more chances coming we get awarded our 2nd penalty of the game. Up steps superalfie looking for his 1st goal and BOOM hits the post and rolls across the goal line and out of play, then minutes later another penalty!! Up steps superalfie once more and BOOM hits the post again after a fantastic save from the Clevo keeper 👏🏻👏🏻 even more chances followed.
