⚽️❤️ Boro Rangers Girls ❤️⚽️
A fun morning down at the Sports Village today as the girls enjoyed a friendly match and another opportunity to keep developing their game.
We focused on trying to play out from the back, showing confidence on the ball and looking for our teammates under pressure. There were plenty of great moments, including some brilliant tornado turns, sole rolls and step overs on display!
Most importantly, the girls had lots of fun, worked hard for each other and continue to learn every time they step onto the pitch.
A great way to keep ticking over and building towards next season. Well done, girls! 👏⚽️❤️

25/26 Completed ✅
What a journey it has been for our Boro Rangers Girls U8’s as we celebrate the end of another incredible season! ❤️⚽
After winning both the league and league cup as U7s in 2024/25, we knew the challenge for 2025/26 would need to be even greater. This season saw our squad grow, welcoming some fantastic new parents, players and personalities, allowing us to expand into two teams for the very first time.
Our newly formed Reds stepped into the highly competitive U8 Division 1 and, under the guidance of Mark, produced an outstanding debut season. The girls successfully retained our age groups league title and narrowly missed out on completing the double, finishing as U8 League Cup runners-up. A phenomenal achievement and a testament to the hard work and commitment shown by everyone involved.❤️
Meanwhile, our Golds took on the challenge of playing up an age group in the U9 Division 2. Under Michael's leadership, the girls were simply outstanding, winning the league and securing the double by lifting the U9 League Cup. An incredible achievement for a team that continues to grow in confidence and ability.💛
Across both teams, the development, teamwork, friendships and memories created this season have been truly special. We are incredibly proud of every single player who has worn the Boro Rangers badge.
A huge thank you to all of our players parents, families and carers 👏🏻. Another huge thank you to Girls First Academy and to Lee Scott and Charlie Rowe for their continued support throughout the season. Grassroots football simply wouldn't be possible without the dedication of people like you.
As one chapter closes, another begins.
We are already looking ahead to the 2026/27 season as our girls move into the U9s age group, and we're excited for the new challenges that await.
We're also looking to continue growing and recruiting, giving even more girls the opportunity to be part of this amazing football family. 🙋🏼♂️
