⚽️ Match Report ⚽️

CLS 0 - 14 Kader

The girls travelled to Chester-le-Street on a lovely Saturday morning to face Chester-le-Street Amazons.

Kader got off to the perfect start, taking the lead inside the opening minutes and never looking back! 💪

A dominant performance from start to finish with some fantastic passing football, great movement, and dangerous crosses throughout the game. It was brilliant to see a variety of names on the scoresheet too 👏⚽️

⭐️ Girl of the Game ⭐️
Scarlett M

Scarlett was outstanding from the first whistle, attacking with confidence and intent all game. She grabbed a handful of goals while also creating some brilliant chances for her teammates. A superb all-round performance — well done Scarlett! 👏🔥

Kader1️⃣–1️⃣ Hetton

The girls travelled to Hetton this evening to face the team sitting 2nd in the league, knowing it would be a tough test. They delivered a tactically spot-on performance, following the game plan perfectly and were unlucky not to take all 3 points.

🥅 GOAL: Ellie
Relentless pressing and non-stop running earned a well-deserved goal.

⭐ Players of the Match:
• Olivia – outstanding in goal with her best performance yet
• Liliah – an absolute brick at the back all evening

Proud of the whole squad tonight 👏
Onto Saturday’s fixture! ⚫️🟠⚽💪

The girls played two games over the last three days. First up was an away trip to Chester-le-Street United on Thursday evening—a game that felt very “boro-like.” We had plenty of possession and created lots of chances but just couldn’t find the back of the net. It ended in a draw, with Eloise earning Girl of the Game for a fantastic performance, making great tackles and showing brilliant movement off the ball.

This morning, we travelled to Bishop Auckland knowing we’d need a strong performance to take all three points, especially after being beaten by them twice already this season. The girls stuck to the game plan, battled hard in midfield, and delivered a great 3–1 win. Goals came from Scarlett M, Jess, and Maisie. Girl of the Game went to Farah, who worked tirelessly in midfield—winning possession back multiple times and playing some excellent forward passes 👏

Kader v Hebburn⚽️

Today the team welcomed Hebburn to Hall Drive. After a 2–2 draw in the reverse fixture, we knew it was going to be a tight game with very little between the two sides, both on the day and in the league.

Kader started strongly and went in front within the opening couple of minutes. Hebburn didn’t let that early goal deflate them and soon equalised following some sloppy defending. The girls continued to battle hard, playing into the wind and dealing with a lot of pressure from the opposition.

Kader then managed to retake the lead with an excellent goal and, after swapping ends, went on to score a couple more, keeping Hebburn pinned back in their own half for large periods.

Opposition Girl of the Game was Emily, whose fantastic long throws caused real problems throughout.

Manager’s Girl of the Game was Smiler (Lillie). She scored a cracking goal and controlled the game brilliantly from CDM in the second half. Well done.
