A fantastic friendly at home today against Nunthorpe Athletic Golds. 💪

Despite the result, this was probably the closest and most competitive game we've played all season. The boys defended brilliantly, hit the post a few times and showed just how much they've developed as a team. 👏

Jack was on fire, grabbing a superb hat-trick and everyone worked tirelessly from the first whistle to the last. A brilliant performance with plenty of positives to take into the new season! 🙌

We travelled away to Thornaby Academy today and came up against a very tough side. They were a brand new team to league football, but showed plenty of quality throughout the game. 💪

Despite the result, the boys kept battling and never gave up. There was plenty of effort on display, and we'll keep working hard in training as we continue to improve each week. 👏

Well done to all the lads for their attitude and determination throughout the match. 🙌

A huge thank you to all the parents and families for your support throughout the season. Bringing the players along each week, cheering them on, and supporting the team makes such a difference.
Most importantly, well done to all of our players. Your effort, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn and improve every week have been brilliant to see. You should all be proud of how much you've developed as footballers and teammates.

Congratulations to everyone, and especially to those who received special awards this evening. They were thoroughly deserved.

🗣️ Manager’s Match Statement:
We took part in the RH Football Festival at Smiths Dock today, facing four different teams in a challenging tournament. 💪

The boys worked hard throughout all the games but came up against strong opposition and unfortunately couldn’t get a win on this occasion.

We did manage to get on the scoresheet with two goals from Harry, and the effort and attitude from the team never dropped across all matches. 👏

A good experience for the boys and plenty to build on moving forward! 🙌

🥇🏆 Player of the Tournament:
Oscar – brilliant effort in only his first proper games for the team, showing great energy and determination throughout! 👏⭐

Today the boys came together and played in the North East Championships Game of Tournaments. They faced five teams: Scholes Park Raiders, Northallerton Town Whites, Billingham JFC Blues, New Marske and Marton Blues.

There was some great ball work and plenty of effort on show, with the boys really trying to pass and play together as a team. A fantastic goal was scored by Harry — well done, Harry!

A great effort also from Jude in goal for several of the matches. We are starting to see his confidence grow, shown through some excellent saves throughout the tournament. His performances resulted in Jude achieving Man of the Match. Well done, Jude!
