Match report:
The blues went to Synthonia for our 1st game of our summer league friendly tournament, a team we have played twice this season, However Billingham caught us napping in the 1st half and after a worldie strike from synthonias no10 we found ourselves 3-1 down, again the team talk was simple, the kids listened, we made a few changes and what an impact, they chased down every ball, played some great balls across the box, and swept the defensive line well, Sian even managed to grab a goal as the kids voted for her to play out for the last 10mins if we went ahead, well done Seb for volunteering to go in goal and he made a couple of great saves, these kids are awesome and we have had a great year so far πͺπ»π΄π΅ keep working hard kids, keep learning, keep impressing and let's keep moving forward together UTSPR

In 20 years, it wonβt matter who was the fastest on the pitch, who scored the most goals, or who won Man of the Match.
In grassroots football, it's not the stats, medals, or scorelines that truly stand the test of time.
What will matter are the life lessons they took with them: kindness, humility, teamwork, resilience.
These are the values that shape who they become far beyond the final whistle. The courage to bounce back from a loss. The respect to shake hands after a tough match. The joy of playing for something bigger than themselves.
Football teaches more than tactics and technique. Itβs a powerful platform for building character.
As parents, letβs shift the focus. From chasing results to nurturing people. From short-term wins to lifelong growth.
Because when their boots are hung up, and the cheers fade, what stays with them isnβt the goals they scored, itβs the person they became.
Football grows futures, not egos. β½

Match report:
Last game of the season away at Hartlepool, a team who gave us a good game in the first half of the season, and who were up in the top 3rd of the table, the Blues started well but found ourselves behind to 2 outrageous freekicks that no keeper was stopping, Hartlepool played well and smothered us untill half time and we went in behind, game plan was simple at half time we all agreed what we needed to do to get back in the game and we started bright, should of scored to get level then disaster, we were hit on the break to go behind even further in typical Blues fashion we gave ourselves a mountain to climb to get back into the game and take a draw nevermind a win, now these kids AGAIN this season, listened to us coaches, dug in harder than we have seen this season, tougher than last weekend and piled the pressure on Hartlepool, these kids are honestly a fantastic bunch, they played some great footy and found the net to grab 3 goals in the last 10mins, Never say Die with this group they relish the pressure π΄π΅
Well done to Hartlepool for having a good season and for 2 great games,
But well done Blues π outstanding all season "unofficially" earned a great win and a trip to the TJFA awards at the town hall, we want to thank SPR what a great club and environment, our parent group, you guys have been amazing all season, a year ago to the day pretty much we started this journey and the highlights have been incredible, what a way to end the season guys, Well done us coaches couldn't be anymore proud of you all UTSPR π΄π΅
