U10s on fire this morning. 🔥

A tight close game in terms of scoreline, but the girls were in complete control. Some fantastic football played, moving the ball, switching it and getting everyone some touches.

Riverside U12 0 v 5 Billingham Town Boys

That’s a wrap for our 4th season in a mixed league. The girls were up and out early for a 9am KO with a bare 9 again. The girls gave a good account of themselves, could have been a little bit more vocal but it’s something to build on.

Thanks to the girls, parents and coaches for their continued efforts and support on Sundays this season… now a few weeks of lie ins before tournament season and friendlies start 😂⚽️

Not the result we hoped for but a class effort put in by the girls. Playing 9 a side on an intermediate 11 a side pitch that could have done with a bit of TLC was always going to be a hard slog.
Very proud that the girls never backed away from a very physical boys team, some being twice their size.
One more game to go before the boys/mixed league is done and dusted for this season.
