I’ve finally hit 37 weeks pregnant and i’m around 10kg heavier than I was at the start of my pregnancy.
Am I worried? Absolutely not.
In a world that often tells women to fear weight gain, pregnancy is a reminder that weight isn’t the full picture.
That 10kg isn’t just “body fat.”
It’s a growing baby 👶
It’s a placenta.
It’s amniotic fluid.
It’s increased blood volume.
It’s extra fluid stored in the body.
It’s breast tissue preparing for feeding.
And yes, some additional body fat that helps support a healthy pregnancy and postpartum recovery.
I’ve tracked my weight throughout pregnancy, not to restrict myself or obsess over the number on the scales, but to ensure I’m staying within a healthy range and to keep myself accountable to the habits that support both mine and my baby’s health.
Weight gain during pregnancy is expected, necessary, and healthy.
Your body is doing exactly what it’s designed to do.
So if you’re pregnant and seeing the scales go up, remember this:
The goal isn’t to avoid weight gain.
The goal is to support a healthy pregnancy.
Your body is growing a human. Give it the credit it deserves ❤️
Have you ever been surprised by what actually contributes to pregnancy weight gain?

✨ CLIENT SPOTLIGHT: LOUISE ✨
When mums join Neomamma, they’re often looking for fitness support after having a baby.
What they find is so much more than that.
Since joining in January, Louise has:
🤍 Lost around 9kg
🤍 Built confidence in herself and her body
🤍 Completed her first ever parkrun
🤍 Achieved a 5K PB
🤍 Found a community of supportive women who genuinely want to see each other succeed
But my favourite part of Louise’s journey isn’t the weight loss or the PB.
It’s this:
“Having women that believe in you more than you believe in yourself is huge.”
As mums, we can be our own biggest critics. We doubt ourselves, question ourselves and often put ourselves last.
Watching Louise grow in confidence, challenge herself and realise what she’s capable of has been incredible.
From having the confidence to go wedding dress shopping, to completing a parkrun she never thought she’d do, she’s proof that small steps consistently taken can lead to life changing results.
And perhaps the most powerful lesson of all:
“This group has shown me that it isn’t selfish to show up for yourself as a mum. It’s essential to be the best version of yourself for your baby and those around you.”
Louise, we’re so proud of you. Thank you for trusting us with your journey and for being such a valued part of the Neomamma community. 🤍
If you’re a mum looking to feel stronger, fitter, more confident and supported by women who truly understand, we’d love to welcome you.

Well done to these incredible ladies completing a challenging Full Body session 🔥
Week after week they’re showing up, lifting heavier, and completing more rounds and that’s where real change happens.
Progressive overload is what drives results. Not random workouts, but consistently making each session just that little bit harder than the last.
That extra 1-5% effort each week is what builds strength, confidence, and visible change over time.
I’m so proud of each of you. Even with newborns, sleep deprivation, and the demands of early motherhood, you’re still choosing to invest in yourselves and your wellbeing - for you and for your families 💛💜

Second to last Mamma Social Co | Bringing Parents Together walk before baby arrives. Grateful for every conversation, every step, and this incredible community of mums. 💜
Today’s walk was extra special because I got the chance to chat individually with every single person who came along. That doesn’t always happen, and it reminded me just how lucky I am to have been doing this since October last year. I also got to appear in the group pic thanks to Rooted Change | Women’s Therapeutic Coach for taking the pic for us 🥲💜
I’m definitely feeling a little emotional knowing I’ll be taking a short break soon while we welcome our newest little arrival. I’ll miss seeing all of the mums and babies each week, but I’m so grateful for the friendships, support, and community we’ve built together.
Next week is my final walk before baby arrives, and I’d love to make it a sell out! My goal is to have 20 mums and babies join us.
If you’ve been thinking about coming along, this is your sign! Head to the link in my bio and book your spot for next Thursday at 10am. We’d love to see you there. ✨

Our first ever Neomamma Social Hike 🥾☀️
What a morning.
The weather was absolutely glorious, the babies were happy in their carriers, and as always, the conversation was amazing.
We spent the morning walking, chatting, laughing, and enjoying some fresh air before stopping at the top of the hill to soak up the sunshine, have some food, and continue the conversations that so many mums don’t get enough opportunity to have.
One of the things we love most about these meet ups is that while the babies are always welcome, the focus is on the mums. It’s a chance to step away from the endless to do lists, feeds, naps, and mental load for a little while and simply connect with other women who get it.
No pressure. No judgement. Just genuine adult conversation, movement, fresh air, and a community of mums supporting mums.
We’re already planning the next one in a couple of weeks, and after today, we can’t wait to do it all again.
If you’d love to join us next time and you’re NOT a member of the Neomamma Online programme I have only 3 spaces left for this intake!!! Get signed up you won’t regret it 💜
