Todayโs been a really humbling day.
I just wanted to say a genuine thank you to all of the students, parents, friends, family and everyone connected to NCMA for the birthday messages, comments and support today.
The kind words honestly mean a lot.
Building this club and watching so many people grow in confidence, strength and character has been one of the greatest parts of my life โ and Iโm grateful to share the journey with all of you.

THURSDAY.
Not motivation.
Not talent.
Not luck.
Just structure, discipline, and repetition.
My Thursday routine currently looks like this:

๐ Controlled cardio / Zone 2 work
๐ง Hydration & recovery focus
๐ฅ Nutrition with purpose
๐ง Business & coaching responsibilities
๐ฅ Evening Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training
๐ฅ Show up tired anyway
At 53 years old, Iโm not chasing perfection anymore.
Iโm chasing consistency.
The goal is simple:
Become harder to break mentally, physically, and emotionally.
Most people wait until they โfeel ready.โ
Warriors build routines so they donโt have to rely on feelings.
You do not need to copy my exact routine.
But you do need a standard.
Train.
Walk.
Recover.
Learn.
Repeat.
One disciplined day stacked on another changes everything.

28ยฐC in the dojo last nightโฆ and the team still turned up ready to train.
That says a lot about the culture we are building at.
Not everyone understands what it takes to consistently walk onto the mats after a long day, especially in that kind of heat. But the people in this team do.
Proud of every student that trained, pushed through, supported each other and kept improving.

There are moments in Martial Arts where you realise how far the journey has come.
Standing here with Bradman Cuffey โ my coach, mentor, and the man who helped make Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu a genuine part of what we do at NCMA.
When we first introduced BJJ into the club, it wasnโt just about adding another class. It was about building a culture of pressure, resilience, humility, and continuous learning. Bradโs guidance, coaching, and belief in the process have played a huge part in that journey.
Grateful for the direction, the support, the hard rounds, and the honesty along the way.
The medals are greatโฆ but the knowledge, friendships, and growth matter more.
