Great game tonight for Dragons Blue! 🐉💙
Final score: Dragons Blue 38 – Brackley Eagles 49
Coming into this match, our goal was simple: improve on our last score against Eagles — and we absolutely smashed it!! We didnt win, but not only did we close the gap on goal difference, we also brought home some well-deserved points and it absolutely felt like a win tonight 🤩

The goal circle was on fire 🔥 constant movement, sharp shooting, and relentless work rate. They truly worked their socks off and delivered our highest scoring game of the season so far — a massive achievement and a real sign of how far we’ve come as a team.
Defensively and through the midcourt, the pressure and determination kept us in the game and created some great turnover opportunities. 💪🏻💥

💫 POM goes to Abbey — always finding those spaces, reading the play beautifully to win us the ball time and time again. So well deserved 💫

Final game of the season and what a season it’s been. Tonight’s match was such a close one, each side going goal for goal for almost the full game. Everyone should be proud of the immense effort tonight, great support and intensity down the court! Super proud of all that purples (both players and support) have achieved this season. That keep us safely in Division 1 🤞bring on the next season! 🐉💜

Dragons Orange took to the court tonight and absolutely smashed it with a 49–20 win! 🔥

It was a fantastic game from start to finish, with some truly amazing play across the court. Huge shoutout to Ola and Lee — you both were incredible in the shooting circle 🙌

Player of the Match goes to Georgieeee 🥳 — you were everywhere tonight!

And wow… the defence was on fire 🔥 Holding the opposition to 20 goals in a full game is seriously impressive — massive well done!

🐉💙Full-time: Dragons Blue 12 – 35 Olney Whites🐉💙
A tough result for Dragons Blue today, but a definite step forward from our last meeting with Olney Whites. They’re a young, energetic side, and their pace showed, but we matched them well in spells and held our own, especially in the final quarter.
There were plenty of positives to take, with stronger defence and better cohesion across the court so let's learn and evolve and crack on to the next 💪

👏 Player of the Match goes to Claire for a fantastic performance and a sterling effort throughout! 💙

Captains report from Kerry:

Very difficult match for Dragons Purple tonight against a tough and energetic dons side.
In the starting minutes we came out strong and positive but things started to go in dons favour and we slipped behind. At half time we changed things up and got our positivity back and things were flowing much better from defence to attack.
Big shout out to our 3 ladies in defence who worked themselves to the bone tonight.
