A huge well done to our U7s today for their incredible effort, energy, attitude and teamwork throughout the tournament

The mission was simple play our football, stay relaxed, stay calm, and enjoy the occasion. The players did exactly that from start to finish

We finished joint top of our group, played some unbelievable football, and conceded just 5 goals all day. At times it felt like everything was against us — we had 3 goals disallowed throughout the tournament, including one in a scrappy semi-final defeat. But what impressed us most was how the players responded. No heads dropped, no excuses were made, and they never allowed setbacks to stop them from playing their football

The results were fantastic, but the character, resilience and quality of football on display were even better. The team stuck together, kept believing in themselves and represented the club brilliantly throughout the day

An opportunity for ambitious young players to showcase their talent in a high-level football environment alongside other advanced grassroots players

Our Talent ID Day is designed to give players maximum playing time, challenge them against strong opposition, and provide the chance to perform in front of people connected with the professional part of the game
