We’ve had a wonderful day today welcoming lots of people into our hay meadows for the Open Meadows Day, organised by and . We’ve learnt a lot about all the different species of sedges and rushes as well as being able to show off our amazing southern marsh orchids to the background orchestra of bird song from skylarks, goldfinch, swallows, blackcaps, meadow pipets and many many more!!! Last weekend we had the pleasure of welcoming guest that had cycled all the way from the other side of Bristol!! We are passionate about protecting the natural world and to welcome guest whole make the choice to visit by peddle power means a lot to us. We hope this is the start of many more guests taking to cycling their way to Oak Apple 🚲
