Sensational displays from our U13s and U15s teams this weekend!
The U13s battled their 2nd game of the season and played like absolute champs, showing nothing but passion and determination to keep going and learn on the job!
POTM was Ava who was unstoppable in defence, getting to every ball first and using that mega strike of hers to get the ball up field and give our attackers a chance to make those runs! Always a pleasure to have at training and this weeks game showed us why we’re so lucky to have her! 🏆
Our U15s faced their very first game of the season, and we genuinely couldn’t be more proud! They faced a well versed and composed Alexandra United Pearls who really put the girls through their paces and taught them in live action what the girls will achieve later down the line with a little more experience! Such a fun, friendly and inclusive game where the girls had a great time and met some fantastic opponents!
POTM was a split choice as we just couldn’t decide between the Left and Right back, so we had no choice but to split it! Unbelievable performances from both Tamsin and Susannah!
Tamsin is our resident left back, with the capacity to run the wing like she was born there, and wins 99% of the balls she goes in for! Her quick footwork, passionate attitude and her love of getting stuck in and using her body makes her the left winger every team needs! A very well deserved trophy and one of many in her future we expect! 🏆
Susannah joined us officially last week, and we are so glad that she did! Like a diamond in the rough, she absolutely shone! She battled her every single ball like it was hers to take and she played some exceptional balls up the field to involve her midfield in the attacks. She should be incredibly proud of her performance, especially being only her 2nd time being with the team! 🏆
Don’t forget that we still have spaces in these teams, so if you want to join us, just pop us a message!
More fixtures coming this weekend, and we already can’t wait! 🤩
