Outdoor exercise provides a natural antidepressant. It is also the most effective way to avoid Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), feelings of anxiety, varying forms of depression and this is simply because the sun naturally increases your serotonin levels, the hormone that affects your mood, and we all prefer a good mood right?
General exercise alone will produce higher levels of endorphins, the best feel-good hormone there is and that also boosts your mood and helps reduces pain.
So, let’s get outside! Exercise and feel great!
