Hello all. I’ll be winding down this Fbk page by end of May 2022, as I make little use of it these days.

My other aliases are Adventure Central and my ACTUAL full name, using which I have arranged various bespoke navigational and guides experiences.

When compasses disagree! A brilliant moment when we tested a clients compass and found the root of some of their navigational woes over 14 YEARS!!

I'm still here! Well, since a very active year of event delivery for prime clients, Rat Race & Ourea Events, dozens of run/bike navigation courses, and some very audacious Test Pilot expeditions (Packrafting, Iceland and Hebrides come to mind) there was then Covid..................... and the event industry stopped dead............. While waiting/influencing the future, I just thought I'd drop this quick line to say HI! and I hope to see you out there. I am certainly still out and about on adventures. (pic from the shores of Loch Ness, and before paddling the River Ness down into Inverness. All the Nessies!

I’m still here!! Just back from a super overnight trip across the Cairngorms, for the Rat Race Co.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted here. Soooo busy with event-making. It’s all good here that’s a cert! The Buddy training sessions will be back in the autumn for sure.

It's that time for that Christmas and New Year business. Personally, I'll be seeking adventure during Betwixtmas. You? Thanks for joining me in various events and sessions this year, and wishing you a brilliant transition into another year of adventure on this planet. This worrying picture, from the other day, as darkness fell on the summit of North Goatfell, and running late for the ferry. Just the kind of predicament that I love!

Oh my! 3 recent navigation courses and today had all the sky painted blue! (Above the fantastic temperature inversion that is!)

Presently just for my lovely local running club, Strathaven Striders, the inaugural Volcano 5k is on Sunday 9th July, 11am, and sponsored by Adventure Buddy. It will be EXPLOSIVE!
