A very disappointing performance sees us exit the Scottish Cup at the first hurdle.

A tough away draw in the all Division 1 clash.

South East Region Cup - 1st Round Result

Leith Athletic Colts 0 - Musselburgh Windsor 8

A very good performance sees us into the 🎩for the next round.

Drawn against a team in the division below, never easy to play with a level of expectation but the boys came out in the 1st half ensuring their would be no cup upset going in 6-0 up at HT.

Tempo dropped a little in the 2nd half but we still managed to grab another couple of goals and delighted to keep a clean sheet.

Well done to all the boys for the result and the overall performance.

League Fixture - Round 3 Result

Windsor 3 - Edinburgh City CFC 4

Football can be a cruel game at times and today is one of them. 2 goals in the last 2 minutes for our opponents see them go up the road with all 3 points.

Again, can't fault the boys for everything they put into the game. If they continue to apply themselves the way they did today I'm sure those fine margins will start going our way.

League Fixture - Round 2 Result

Hutchie 5 - 1 Windsor

After four really close encounters settled by the odd goal last season, we knew what we were getting, and it certainly proved the case for 62 minutes with the game finely poised at 1-1. Before we hit the self destruct button and conceded 4 late goals which from our point of view were all avoidable. That's taking nothing away from the Hutchie strikers, who still had to show composure and put them away, which they duly did.

Up until that point, it was a fairly evenly contested game, with Hutchie edging possession and territory but the clearer opportunities falling to Windsor. Particularly in the 1st half, which we failed to convert, we could and perhaps should have been 2/3 nil up after 20 mins. Those misses would ultimately prove costly.

Can't fault the boys in terms of what they put into the game and the final scoreline looks incredibly harsh for their efforts. That said, lessons need to be learnt at both ends of the pitch and quickly, particularly in the key moments.

We have the opportunity to bounce back on Sunday, in a tough match against Edinburgh City CFC who have started the season very very well.

Well after a bit of a false start to the 2026/27 season, where our opponents forfeited the opening fixture resulting in us being awarded the 3 points, we've had to wait a bit longer than the majority of teams to get started. Silver lining is we have two games this week to make up for it.

Mon the Windsor 🔵⚪️⚽️

Another pre-seaon festival. This time up in Dundee. 7 teams all playing each other, so 150 minutes of football. Some tired legs at the end of it all.

Boys performed very well throughout the entire day. Two well deserved victories over Inspire and Glenburn, a draw against our good friends Currie Star and 3 narrow defeats (all by one goal) to Maryfield, St Cadocs and Hermes BOD.

Some fine margins in those defeats and on another day the result could have went the other way, but that's football. Overall, we finished on 7 points and smack bang in the middle of the standings in 4th place.

First league game next week, so one more hard week of training before the season officially kicks off.

Back to training this week and our first taste of pre-season. A trip down to Dumfries to take part in the Heston Rovers 2013 Tournament.

Very high quality of teams on show.

We ended the group stage with three draws against Heston, Ardrossan and West Park Navy, two narrow defeats to Hillwood and Linwood and a deserved loss to the eventual winners Dunipace.

There was a feeling of a missed opportunity in a few games which might have seen us play for the cup but we found ourselves in the final of the Shield.

Whilst, it's the not the prize anyone sets out for, nevertheless we were up against an excellent West Park Navy team in the final. Controlling the game from start to finish to end the day on a high.

Great start to pre-season and massive thanks to all at Heston Rovers football club 2013's for a great day ⚽️🏆

League Fixture - Round 17 Result

Hutchie 3 - 2 Windsor

Once again we find ourselves on the wrong side of the odd goal but was probably the right result in the end.

Chances where a premium in the first half but we get to HT 1-0 up after a great corner and finish. Hutchie came out for the second half much hungrier and got a deserved equaliser, under somewhat fortuitous circumstances, before going on to to take a 3-1 lead. We hit back with a great goal but left it too late to get an equaliser.
