Lessons learned - near miss with cross-Channel ferry This is a timely reminder to all dive managers and Cox'ns to carefully plan their diving to plan the location carefully, taking note of any local navigation restrictions and be aware that large but fast moving surface craft can be significantly constrained by their draft

Six members are just back from a super holiday in Bonaire. Shore diving there is unrestricted and unsupervised for qualified divers with boat diving available if wanted.

A group of hardy Club divers enjoyed super visibility in Capernwray and a water temperature of 5⁰C at the weekend. Looks great, well done guys.

Another six satisfied Try-Divers showing real promise on Thursday last. Well done to all, both trainees and instructors.

A Force 6 SSWesterley didn't deter our divers from exploring Hoyhead Harbour from Newry Beach last Saturday. Visibility was a disappointing couple of metres but those who dived enjoyed the experience.

Of course the main draw of the day was the Xmas lunch and quiz at Trearddur Bay Hotel's 'Inn At The Bay' restaurant. And the coast road to get there from Holyhead provided a spectacular seascape.
