Meet Izzy, a dedicated 15-year-old goalkeeper with a passion for football that’s unstoppable. For as long as I can remember Izzy’s dream has been to pursue a career in football. Currently playing for Doncaster Rovers Bells in the Junior Premier League and training at the FA Future Lionesses Goalkeeper Centre in Sheffield.

Her dedication, talent and hard work have earned her a spot at Oaklands College from September 2025. The Dual Career Academy provides a full-time football and education programme for players aspiring to compete at the highest level while committing to an academic or work-related training programme.

Arsenal Women have partnered with Oaklands College in St Albans, this collaboration allows all players in the WSL Academy to pursue their academic studies at Oaklands College while simultaneously receiving football education with Arsenal Women FC.

Attending Oaklands College is a stepping stone to a future career in the sport she loves. This opportunity will provide Izzy with professional coaching, academic support, and the chance to be part of a community that values and nurtures young female talent.
