There was so much more to our Edinburgh weekend than the results and the medals weโ€™ve already posted about.

A lot of foosball, plenty of laughs, some brilliant people, new friendships, familiar faces, and quite a few moments worth keeping. ๐Ÿ˜„

We normally play our Foos events on Sundays, but Halloween falls on Saturday, 31st October this year โ€” and we couldnโ€™t exactly have a Halloween Special without doing it on Halloween itself. ๐ŸŽƒ

And this is NOT one of our regular Foos Rounds.

For one very special Saturday, weโ€™re transforming our usual foosball home with Halloween decorations, costumes, music, plenty of laughs and, of course, loads of foosball. ๐Ÿ’€โšฝ

This one is much more about the whole experience. Whether you play every event, havenโ€™t been for ages, want to try foosball for the first time, or simply fancy a brilliant Halloween day with a great bunch of people โ€” this is the one to come to.

Back in Newark after an unforgettable weekend in Edinburgh! Weโ€™re coming home with 5 medals from 2 days โ€” 1 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze! ๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿฅˆ๐Ÿฅ‰ Much more than we expected! Full results and stories will follow soon.

But the main thing I want to say in this post isnโ€™t about the medals or the results.

The weekend also brought an unexpected and frightening moment when Josh became unwell on Saturday morning and needed urgent hospital care. At that point, foosball and the competition really didnโ€™t matter. The only important thing was Josh and knowing he was being looked after. Heโ€™s not just someone who came away to play with us โ€” heโ€™s part of our team and a fantastic person to have around. Josh, all of us are thinking of you, wishing you all the very best and hoping to see you back with us soon. โค๏ธ

A special mention to Jacek, who stayed by his side throughout the day, putting his friend before the tournament. Top man and a top friend. โค๏ธ
