Thursday’s Lil’ Laydie of the session! ⚽️👏🏼

Well done to Amiyah 🔥
A session with lots of team bonding exercises with emphasis on communication and teamwork.

Amiyah was constantly talking to her teammates and working really within her team, helping her mates and giving good bits of information 🤝🏼

She played really well in the end match and scored a couple of cracking goals ⚽️ superb effort and attitude as always from Amiyah 👏🏼

Well done Sienna 🔥
Brilliant session tonight with great vibes and great attitude and Sienna was superb from start to finish 🙌🏼

She was constantly on the move in our passing and moving drill. Finding space everywhere on the pitch and passing quickly. She was scanning her shoulders and looking for pockets of space all the time. Her link up play was brilliant.

Sienna played some really good stuff tonight 🤩

PLAYERS OF THE MATCH vs Holy Spirit Celtic ⚽️👏🏼

Opponents POTM: Libbyella 🔥 - solid all game, used her body well and made some great runs from deep. Made it difficult for the opponents to get the ball off her and was unlucky not to score today 🙏🏼

Managers POTM: Taliah 🔥 - great game all round in between the sticks. Made some brilliant stops and came off her line and commanded her area really well when she needed too. Couldn’t do a lot about the goals that went as they were taken well but was solid in goal and opponents spoke very highly of her 👏🏼

Parents POTM: Betsy 🔥 - thoroughly deserved also. Covered every blade of grass on the pitch, made tackles everywhere and really got stuck in. Her work rate and effort was superb. Her tenacity to keep going was unreal to watch 👌🏼

First game of the season vs Holy Spirit Celtic ⚽️🙌🏼

Tough day at the office today, we played against a well drilled, well organized team. We came up short and fell to defeat but so many encouraging signs to take into the season 💪🏼🩵

We showed a great attitude for the whole 60 minutes and tried to play the right way which gives us a lot to look forward too as the season goes on 👏🏼

We win together, we lose together. No matter what, the vibes and spirit always stay high with these girls which makes me the most happiest ❤️

Well done to Holy Spirit Celtic and good luck to them for the rest of the season.

Thursday’s at Lil’ Laydies are all about fun, and we’ve had plenty of fun and laughter tonight 🤩

They requested a pyjama day for our training session so everyone turned up in PJ’s 🤪

We played some fun team building games and finished with a winner stays on tournament which was full of funny moments and brilliant football combined ⚽️🔥

We pride ourselves on making it a real sisterhood and family at Lil’ Laydies Football, and we think we’ve done a pretty good job 🩷

Thursday’s Lil’ Laydie of the session! ⚽️🔥

Well done to Taliah tonight 👏🏼 brilliant effort, attitude and determination this evening. We played a winner stays on tournament at training and Taliah was superb 🙌🏼

Played really well in goal, making some great saves and commanding her area really well 🤝🏼

She came out of goal for a few games aswell and was quality on the ball 🔥 got a couple of great assists and showed some proper tekkers on the ball to get away from players 💯

Dev Squad Lil’ Laydie of the session! ⚽️👏🏼

Well done to Harper tonight 🔥

We played some fun games with the dev squad tonight which was based around dribbling and passing. Making sure to take small touches when dribbling and communicating when passing and receiving the ball 🙌🏼

Harper was fantastic tonight and really gave it a good go with everything. Showed really good technique when dribbling with the ball and made some great passes which were very accurate 👏🏼 she worked really hard in the match at the end aswell and continued her great dribbling and passing 🔥

Well done to all the Development Squad players and Harper ⭐️

U12s Lil’ Laydies of the session ⚽️👏🏼

Well done to Maisy and Avannah!

Both had brilliant sessions tonight, working really hard and stood out in certain areas 🔥

Maisy showed great composure defensively today and did well to intercept lots of passes going through to strikers. She also made some good tackles in the 1v1s and then put it together well in the match at the end 💪🏼

Avannah was constantly moving in the game realistic drill and finding really good pockets of space 👏🏼 she was also ruthless in front of goal tonight and scored some great goals by finishing neatly into the corners under pressure 🤩

Well done both of you ⭐️

Lil’ Laydie of the session tonight ⚽️👏🏼

Well done to Nev tonight 🔥 absolutely brilliant from start to finish this evening. A big turnout with players of all ages and sizes, and Nev was class throughout and stood out 🙌🏼

One of the smallest players in the group, but makes up for it with pure tenacity 💪🏼 she was throwing herself into every challenge with girls much bigger than her and also was playing some great little give and gos all over the pitch 🔥

Superb effort tonight Nev, played really well ⭐️
