Well done to Elsie. She was brilliant today, worked really hard and put lots of effort into the shooting exercises we looked at 🔥 she scored a few goals and showed really great technique when striking the ball ⚽️

U12s - Betsy 👏🏼
Fantastic from Betsy, what a week she has had 🔥 after her player of the match performance on Sunday, she was again everywhere on the pitch in training tonight. Closing down everything quickly in our pressing drills, and made some superb tackles to break up play 💪🏼

The opposition picked her as best player and she was brilliant. She worked so hard, closing down everything and setting the high press really well. Constantly putting pressure on there defence and could have easily scored a few today but was unlucky with her chances ⚽️😬

Well done to BETSY 👏🏼

The team and I picked out Betsy as player of the match as she was relentless. Strong as an ox in midfield today, and was a real engine in the middle. Made so many tackles and interceptions today and was a real handful for Newark Brazil to deal with 🔥

A really pleasing performance from the girls today against Newark Brazil 👏

We started the game a little slowly, but once we settled into our rhythm early on, we took control and dominated large spells of the match.

The football we played was excellent, we pressed relentlessly and we created chance after chance, and on another day we could easily have scored five or six goals but we had to settle for a draw 😬

Most importantly, the girls kept working hard, trusted each other, and showed how much they’re developing as a team every single week 👊🏼🩷

So proud of every one of them! 💪⚽

We played a match tonight and these two played on opposite teams but were the best players on there respective sides 💪🏼

The movement on and off the ball from the pair of them was spot on, they were passing well to teammates and worked really hard in both attack and defence 🔥

Did a lot of work on dribbling today and keeping the ball really close to our feet, we had a mini match with small goals and played a few games of killer to finish with some first time shooting ⚽️🎯

All the girls did fantastically well tonight, and worked really hard at everything I thrown at them. Some girls missing tonight due to illness unfortunately but we are growing such a lovely group of the younger generation and our future stars to come ✨

Well done to Darcey, Amelia, Lola-Tia and Freya!
The goalkeeper and the back three in today’s drill were fantastic tonight 🔥

We worked on waves of play and transitions, moving the ball quickly in waves of attack and defensive transitions, once the ball was won, working on getting back into shape 🤝🏼

The back three of Lola, Amelia and Freya stayed switched on all session and showed just why they will be a feared defence to come against as they made so many interceptions and some great tackles to stifle attacks 👊🏼

Darcey also made some brilliant saves from some long shots that came her way and made the area really small by commanding her penalty box 💪🏼

Finishing drills tonight and getting the girls to take a touch and finish into the corners. Amber was sharp, fast and scored multiple goals. Hit the bottom corners consistently and even hit one top bins 🎯

Some good technique shown on the ball from the pair of them during the drills and matches and the work ethic was spot on. Fantastic from them both tonight 🔥
