Xcel u16 2-3 City of stoke u16

We started well and on the front foot, creating a few chances but nothing to really test xcels keeper, and Xcel then started to grow into the game and after a defensive mix up went into the lead 1-0. But we responded well, putting a few just wide before Qas got us level from range after Tyler won the ball back 1-1, both teams went close with xcel hitting the bar and us needing to be more clinical in front of goal.

HT 1-1

2nd half xcel uped their game and started having a real go at us but our players defended really well and we got going and Olivers deflected shot beat xcels keeper to make it 2-1, we went straight back at xcel again with Harley making it 3-1 from range.
But xcel kept going and their number 7 scored a beauty to make it 3-2 with around 20 minutes left, both teams had chances, with both keepers been forced into decent saves. But our players played well and saw the game out. Proper team effort today

Every year the children write a letter to Santa and send it to us 😉 Santa and the Christmas Elves at Rayne make their letters become reality.

Redstreet tiger's 4-3 city of stoke u16s falcons

Blustery away day at trubshaw Cross today

We started the game Looking to get on top early on as did redstreet and from an early corner redstreet went 1-0 up due to some sloppy defending from us. But we quickly got back in the game with harley and Oliver linking up well to find Tyler Sharpe for his 1st goal of the season, 1-1. Both sides looked to get back on top and redstreet got a 2nd after a good through ball and finish 2-1 and it quickly become 3-1 after a long range strike caught out our keeper.
HT 3-1

2nd half we started looking to get back into the game and we did through a penalty well taken by max to make it 3-2 game on. We kept pushing to get level and made some changes but redstreet got another to make it 4-2, but we kept battling and got another 1 through a well placed header from knightley, 4-3 then an unfortunate red card for redstreets keeper in the last 10 mins gave us hope but it just wasn't to be.

Cös u16 falcons 2-2 audley

Great game in the whisper lane 🌞 considering the rain lastnight the pitches were in top condition.

1st half both teams started well trying to get the ball down and play, both teams creating little in the way of opportunities due to good defending from both sides, until halfway through the 1st half audley hit a thunderbolt from 25+ yards out. 0-1 Ht

2nd half we made a couple of changes.
We uped the tempo and we knew the next goal was important and after a foul on Qas just outside the area, Qas scored from the freekick neatly into the bottom corner 1-1 game on, the game was a good physical battle and it become a bit stop start, with not much in the way of chances, but then a quality cross finding Audleys forward and its 1-2, then came a couple of injuries so we had to change it and go again and we did just that. In the last 5 minutes our substitute Ray made it 2-2 with a quality composed finish. And absolute scenes as our players celebrated, (included a bust lip for me 😆 Cheers boys). We tried to win it but audley defended brilliantly.

Credit to both teams they played really well in a good physical game, proud of my players and how far weve come, we'll keep working hard.

Westlands 6-1 City Of Stoke u16 falcons

Footballs back = 🌧🌧🌧

1st half we started slow and found ourselves 1-0 down within a minute... but we recovered well and started to play some decent stuff and created a few problems for westlands, we had a few chances to get level but it wasn't to be.
Ht 1-0
2nd half we struggled to get going and westlands took full advantage making in 3-0 in 10 2nd half minutes, a couple of changes due to injuries, but we rallied and max got us back in the game 3-1, we battled on trying to get another but they hit us on the break for 4-1. From then we struggled to get a foothold in the game as the 🌧 came. Another 2 goals for westlands making it 6-1 👏.

Well played to westlands a deserved victory in the end game played in the right way, and the referee was decent too.

We'll learn from this and come back stronger 💪

Cös 6-3 milton knights

Came up against a very well drilled and resolute milton side who have only lost 2 games last season getting them promoted from there league, so we knew we were up against it,

1st half started and both teams started brightly trying to get the ball down and playing football, we created a couple of chances but milton defence and keeper stood strong, then a ball over the top caught us napping and milton made it 0-1, straight away we got back at them winning a penalty with Qas cooly finished, game on, but milton played some decent stuff and went 2-1 up, but we kept going and with some good football in the build up Qas levelled again, but the just before halftime time a defensive mix up milton scored again.
HT2-3
We spoke about mistakes and made a couple of changes. I told the players to go win us the game

2nd half we started strong and Harley quickly got us level 3-3, we were on top and made the pressure pay when Oliver made it 4-3 with a brilliant finish we were playing brilliant and stopped milton playing their game, and Qas made it 5 with his 3rd, we looked solid and we're playing some good football, with 20 minutes left Oliver got his 2nd making it 6-3, milton didnt give up and still came forward trying to pose a threat, hitting the post near the end. we defended brilliantly 2nd half and our keeper had little to do and our midfield was brilliant. Ft 6-3
