Paul Clyde retires. Well, sort of. ๐
After 42 years in legal forms, our Sales Director, Paul, is officially easing into retirement โ reducing his FormEvo hours to the equivalent of one day a week, spread across the week, as he attempts to wean himself off life in FormEvo Land.
We say attempts, because once a Legal Forms man, always a Legal Forms man.
At Mondayโs staff meeting, we celebrated Paulโs work-life shift with throwback backgrounds, surprise presents and plenty of laughs.
Paulโs journey began in 1984 as a Marketing Assistant at Shaws Forms, back when forms were made of actual paper! Moving into business development meant counting stock in law firmsโ cupboards โ and, once, accidentally being locked inside one. ๐
After roles at Laserform and Oyez, Paul became Oyez Managing Director.
In 2019, Oyezโs former MD joined its former Support Manager โ now FormEvo Technical Director Gary Hamilton โ and FormEvo founder Archie Courage.
Together, they have evolved legal forms from legacy software into top-class SaaS, growing FormEvo from a handful of clients into a business scaling internationally.
โ๏ธ Top 100 wins followed โ the first announced by Paul in black tie, news-bulletin style.
๐น Then came FormEvoโs first free-form webinar, with 100+ attendees. Apparently Archie forgot until two minutes before โ not that Paul forgot to tell him. Heโs sticking to that.
๐ And championship after championship with FormEvo Racing and Simon Clark โ from knowing nothing about motorsport to preparing for a 200-guest Silverstone mega event.
๐ All underpinned by a peculiar amount of team excitement over forms. A team bonding over text-box expansion and font options could only be FormEvo.
Paul remains firmly part of the FormEvo family, sharing his experience, supporting the team and keeping Archie on his toes โ while enjoying more time with his family and young grandchildren.
Paul believes FormEvoโs best days are still ahead. Weโre very glad heโll still be here to help shape them.

Our British-built McLaren is fresh from two trophies at Snetterton โ a GT class win and second overall โ with Simon Clark now leading the Britcar Endurance Championship standings.

We're back on track this weekend as we head to Snetterton for the next round of the Britcar Endurance Championship.
๐ Every race weekend brings a new challenge and another opportunity to improve and push for a strong result. After a positive outing at Spa, we're looking to carry that momentum into another weekend of racing.
