So this is my Dad Bob Snr also known as ā€˜Bob the Machine’ or the ā€˜The GOAT’ he’s hero of mine and absolute all round legend.

Now Bob Snr turns 70 next year and here he is for one reason or another by hand digging 5Mx2M/4 feet deep trench.

Now the reason for digging the hole is a bit of mystery & whether it’s to bury my mam in? well I’m not quite sure I’m brave enough to ask the question.

But the my point here is that Bob has been weight training for 50 years and enjoying a beer or 2 for a little more than 50 years. And if you don’t mind me saying he’s still looking in great nick and not mention fit as a Lop judging by the amount of graft that’s gone into digging this hole.

How has he managed this? Well that would be telling but if you want more info drop a comment/share this post & I’ll happily send you his plan. Including the monthly amount of John Smiths consumed.

Welcome to the fit Dad project. I've made it my mission to help as many dads get in the best shape possible & feel confident about how they look without giving up the things they love - Beer, Burgers & more Beer.

Get Lifting. Get Drinking

It’s pretty straight forward Gents, the more muscle we build the more beer we can drink!!

If you could gain 15 extra lbs of muscle in a year you can burn an extra 1050cals per week sitting on your arse doing nothing. Actually tell a you could sit on your arse and drink 5 pints of Morretti watch the match and not have to worry about putting on an ounce of fat! And that doesn’t take into consideration the muscle you already have at your disposal. WTF!

So it’s pretty simple lift more drink more!! Absolute no brainer if you ask me.
