NO! NO! BLOODY NO! 💥🐺
I am completely done listening to the nice guys and the high-flyers and the guys who need a five-person backup crew to get the job done, debate who runs the FTW Alpha Prime division.
I am completely sick of the standard posturing. I am tired of the foundation cracks, and I am especially tired of Lucid Luke being so unmitigatedly nice that I can’t even locate the psychological motivation to hate him properly after he took the belt at Cuffed Chaos and then beat me at the Radgie Rumble.
But the fact is the "Nice Guy" era in FTW is entirely bankrupt. On August 8th at the SummerTime Brawl, the architecture changes. I am entering the Ladder Match. And trust me, I have no problem reducing everyone else to a bloody pulp to secure the lineage of that title and usher in the era of the Alpha Wolfe!
The mask is on. The ladder is booked. Hit play.

BEHIND THE CURTAIN: THE 2026 RADGIE RUMBLE CREATIVE BLUEPRINT 📋🎬
Indy wrestling isn't corporate Hollywood; it is an intricate psychological puzzle where you are always playing chess, not checkers, to guarantee ticket sales for the next show.
Earlier this year, I pulled double-duty at the Radgie Rumble—scripting, formatting, and agenting an hour-long continuous performance backstage before stepping through the curtain to compete myself. This full Director’s Commentary Track audio file provides an elite administrative audit of the match's closing architecture:
The Infrastructure Anchor: How we engineered a 60-minute iron-man framework around Jim Wilson to maintain a consistent narrative spine.
The Tactical Audible: The real-time safety metrics behind pulling a high-risk balcony dive on less than an hour's notice to protect our premium talent assets.
The Double-Blind Finish: A comprehensive breakdown of the referee distraction sequence that generated nuclear heel heat while bulletproofing the babyface credibility of Scott Plitt.
The roots run deeper than you think. Watch, listen and study the pacing under the lights.
📲 The Academy Files // History Entry: The Meat Cushions of 2005 🤼♂️📼
(Footage courtesy of Kris "Youngsta" Avery)
People look at the UK independent wrestling scene today and think it’s this polished, athletic machine. It wasn't. In 2005, the North East circuit was essentially an industrial research lab for human gravity.
The attached archive tape drops you right into the 2005 IWF Hendon Festival. Look past the bouncy castle, the puppet shows, and the blokes in deckchairs drinking Special Brew, and you are looking at the absolute pioneer days of the modern UK indie style.
This festival crowd also bore witness to a rare piece of wrestling trivia: the very first time I ever put on a mask in a wrestling ring.
Long before the silver wolf, there was "El Boogero"—a complete one-off, throwaway parody gimmick. I went out there wearing a bootleg Juventud Guerrera mask as a cheeky nod to a young 16-year-old worker from Leeds named El Ligero who was just starting to pop up on our radars. In hindsight, Juventud Boog-uerrera was right there, but I'm about 21 years too late on that edit.
But behind the comedy masks, the locker room was full of maniacs who spent their freezing Friday nights studying obscure, grainy Ring Of Honor VHS tapes bought from international tape-traders.
We were training alongside lads like a teenage PAC—guys who would become global television stars. They’d walk into the gym and say, "Right! I’ve invented a move called the 630 Splash. I rotate through the sky twice like a broken ceiling fan and land directly on your throat. Who wants to go first?"
And because we had zero self-preservation and a profound desire for a round of applause, we just stood there, tensed our cores, and took the physical receipts. To this day, I hold the unofficial distinction of being the first worker in Europe to successfully take a 630 splash in front of a live crowd.
We weren't just wrestlers back then. We were the literal meat cushions for the future of the business.
Study the footage. Respect the history. 📼🛠️

🎞️ THE ARCHIVE // THE LITMUS TEST OF THE CHAMPION 🐺👑
Eleven minutes and nineteen seconds. That is exactly how long it took to dismantle the textbook definition of a modern indie championship match at the Jubilee Club earlier this year.
This highlight package isn’t just a random collection of high-velocity moves. This was Lucid Luke’s very first defense of the FTW Alphaprime Championship. Going in, the backstage objective was clear: Lucid is a premier babyface, and I was trusted to act as his
first major strategic roadblock.
What started as an athletic game of purely trying to one-up each other quickly devolved into a brutal test of endurance. Who could survive the other's offense the longest?
The action was a classic back-and-forth chess match until the final sequence. I went for a heavy clothesline in the corner and missed. Luke capitalized instantly, catching me hung up on the middle rope with my back to the ring, running the opposite ropes to execute a phenomenal sliding German suplex straight under the bottom wire. He followed up immediately with his signature 450 Splash to secure
the three-count.
Since surviving our encounter, Lucid has gone on a tear—retaining against Craig Gilmour, JJ Hall, Slim Jim Brennen, and JJ Gold. He has proven he is a fighting champion, earning the right to lobby for the high-stakes Ladder Match against Ace Shield on August 8th at Summertime Brawl.
Right now, the office only has two names locked into that contract. But a ladder match completely changes the physics of FTW. It’s been nearly a decade since I stepped onto the rungs, but looking at this footage, I know exactly what it takes to break the champion's rhythm.
Hit play, study the pacing, and watch how a narrative is built under the lights. The "Nice Guy" era in FTW is ticking away.

THE "WOLFE COOLER" PROTOCOL: HOW TO SURVIVE THE INDIE GAUNTLET IN 30-DEGREE HEAT 🥵🚨
Over the last few weeks, my feed has been flooded with lads complaining about the sweltering conditions in packed civic halls and social clubs. It’s easy to moan, but nobody’s offering actual locker-room solutions outside of the "Hilarious" joke where everyone stops for a hydration break mid-match cos y'know, the World Cup did it.
I only mention that spot because I've literally seen it at least 10 times on different indie shows in less than 2 weeks.
On Saturday night at the Jubilee Club, it hit easily 30 degrees under the lights. I ran a high-velocity, 10-minute tag match while wearing a thick, furry wolf mask—and walked out without my lungs collapsing.
If you work under a mask or heavy headgear, your core body temperature skyrockets within the first three minutes. Heat exhaustion doesn't just kill your performance—it kills your reaction time, your grip strength, and your safety.
If you want to survive the summer loop without blowing up or throwing up, copy this veteran blueprint:
1. The Long Hair Braid Protocol (The Anti-Wool Shield) 💇♂️
If you have long hair and work under a mask, do not just push it back or leave it loose.
The Routine: Tie it down, braid it tightly, and pin the braid securely to the very top of your head. Right before you go out, douse the pinned braid with ice-cold water.
The Benefit: Loose sweat-soaked hair creates a thick, wet layer of insulation—essentially acting like a heavy wool hat trapped between your skull and your mask. Braiding and pinning it opens up the back of your neck, and the ice-water saturation provides a cooling barrier that stops your head from overheating.
2. The "Wolfe Cooler" Mask Trick 🐺
Don’t just wet your hair before you go out. Take a 2-litre bottle of supermarket spring water, drink two mouthfuls to give it room to expand, and freeze it solid the night before a show.
The Routine: The second you arrive at the venue, lace your wrestling mask or headpiece directly around the frozen bottle.
The Benefit: It acts as a solid mannequin head that keeps your gear perfectly shaped while blasting sub-zero air directly into the inner lining and forehead foam. When you pull that chilled mask over your head for your entrance, it instantly drops your cranial temperature and creates an evaporative cooling system for your face for the first crucial five minutes.
3. Open the Airways (The Philtrum Dab) 👃
Take a leaf out of PAC’s book. Put a small smear of Vicks VapoRub or Olbas Oil right on your philtrum (the notch between your nose and upper lip).
The Benefit: Under a hot mask, the intense menthol vapors trigger your nasal receptors, opening your passages instantly and tricking your brain into feeling a sensation of increased airflow. It maximizes every gasp of oxygen and fights the psychological panic of restricted breathing.
4. The Brainstem Reset 🧠
Backstage before the match, press a flexible gel ice pack or your frozen 2-litre bottle directly against the base of your skull, your wrists (radial artery), and the sides of your neck (carotid artery).
The Benefit: Your blood flows closest to the skin at these pulse points. Cooling the blood passing straight to your brain fools your central nervous system into lowering your overall core temperature perception, steadying your heart rate before you hit the curtain.
5. Stop Chugging Ice Water Post-Match 🛑
When you get back through the curtain and your body is at boiling point, do NOT down a gallon of freezing water.
The Benefit: Shocking your stomach when your core is that high is a one-way ticket to vomiting in the locker room sink. Sip lukewarm or cool water steadily before the show to keep your blood volume high enough to sweat efficiently, and hydrate slowly afterward.
Wrestling is a game of survival. Protect your body, condition your environment, and stop burning your lungs for no reason. Work smart. Protect your partner. Protect yourself.

30-degree heat under the lights at the Jubilee Club, but 24 years in this game means you survive, adapt, and innovate. Massive respect to Riley, and JJ for an absolute gauntlet of a semi-final. The Double Styles Clash felt devastating, the Bronco Buster is officially back in rotation, and it took a textbook ring-apron trap and a double submission to put me away. We didn't get the tournament win, but the Wolf didn't get pinned either.
The hunt doesn't stop here. 🐺⚙️
