'I couldn't not help' - Hero saved life of man who collapsed on Shields Road Sam Collard administered life-saving CPR to a man whose heart stopped in a medical emergency but insists his actions were nothing out of the ordinary

So I’ve kept quiet about what’s been happening my step dad had a cardiac arrest in byker Sheilds road his heart had stopped and was completely dead until this man here gave him cpr and managed to get his heart going again until the ambulance arrived my stepdad (Barry) has been in a medically induced coma but has woke up today I’d like anybody who knows this man to thank him he has saved his life and then continued to work I’m the most thankful I could ever be he has saved my family from heartache thank you from the bottom of my heart also thank you freeman hospital and the ambulance team and the lads on the street ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
