Coaches Player of the Year – Savannah 🏆

What a season from our No.1 🧤🔥
Savannah has been unreal all year, pulling off phenomenal saves and earning countless Player of the Match awards along the way.

She was also awarded the club’s Special Outstanding Goalkeeper Award for her efforts throughout the season - battling back from injury, stepping in for other club teams, and being tremendous for our Lionesses between the sticks 👏🏻 🦁

One of the very best around and a fantastic role model for the team ❤️

Chosen by her teammates ❤️
Tilly has been outstanding all season, excelling in multiple positions, scoring important goals, and never stopping running for her team.
She was also awarded the Northumberland Football League Outstanding Player of the Season for her performances in the boys division with our Lionesses 👏🏻 ⚽

A true team player and so deserving of this award 🦁 🙌🏼

🦁 A fantastic evening for our Lionesses as we welcomed Newcastle United ETC to Newcastle City Juniors for a round-robin event ⚽

The evening featured our NCJ U9 Lionesses, U10 Lionesses, and U10 NUFC ETC, with all the girls playing some brilliant football and showing fantastic attitudes throughout 👏🏻

Our first game against the U9 Lionesses ended in an entertaining 2-2 draw in a fast-paced and competitive match 💪🏼

We then faced the U10 NUFC ETC girls, going behind early on before responding brilliantly with some excellent linking play and determination to earn a well-deserved 1-1 draw 🔥

A huge thank you to Newcastle United for the opportunity - a brilliant way to round off our season 🖤🤍

🦁 Newcastle City Juniors Girls Academy Cup 🏆

💃 What a Day! ⚽

So proud of every single one of our Newcastle City Juniors Lionesses today ❤️ 🖤🤍

We finished 4th out of 12 teams, competing against academies from all over the UK - an incredible achievement in itself 👏🏻 🔥

After a long, tough day of football, we reached the Plate Final, where we were narrowly beaten 2-1 by Hearts - a team we had already beaten earlier in the group stages. On another day, with a fully fit squad, I truly believe we lift that trophy 💪🏼

The girls gave everything for each other from the first whistle to the last - battling through knocks and injuries, showing heart, determination, and togetherness all day long 🖤🤍

But Not all treasure is Silver and Gold in medals and trophies… It’s about the memories we create, the bonds/friendships we build, and the journey we’re on together!
And this group is something really special ❤️

I’m so proud to say I coach this team.

This month’s award goes to our No.5 - and it’s fully deserved! 👏🏻 🦁

She’s scored some vital goals this month, worked/ran non-stop for her team, and stepped into multiple positions, excelling in every single one 💪🏼 ⚽

Always playing with a smile on her face, her attitude, energy, and commitment make her such an important part of this team 🖤🤍

🦁 Final Boys Division Games-Season Round-Up ⚽

We wrapped up our final two games in the Boys Division this week 💪🏼

Midweek:
A tough game where we were unlucky to lose, but a strong performance nonetheless.
🌟 Opposition Player of the Game went to No.10 for a top display 👏🏻

Final Game at Blyth Town ☀️
Played in the sunshine, the girls showed real character once again. After going behind, they didn’t let it affect them, fighting back with some excellent passing and movement to bring the game level 💛

Late on, we had a stoppage-time penalty to win it, but their keeper pulled off a great save before the final whistle. So close!

When the girls got going today, they were quality, and it was great to hear opposition parents full of praise on the sidelines 🙌🏼
