HOW DOES MASSAGE THERAPY HELP WITH SCIATICA PAIN?

There are treatments you can take to help relieve sciatica pain, including medication, yoga, and physical therapy. But, massage therapy has also been proven to help. It offers a natural form of pain relief by loosening the tight muscles that compress the nerves. This therapy increases circulation, enhancing the healing process as well as releasing lactic acid. There are a few types of massage therapy that help with sciatica.

Sports massage therapy

This form of massage therapy reaches deep into the muscles, tendons, and other tissues to release tight and knotted muscles. Knots, adhesions, and scar tissue disrupt blood flow and constrict nerves. Deep tissue massage therapy loosens the muscles and other areas that are in pain and increases your range of motion.

With this therapy, it is important to remember that pain may still be felt both during and after a session. Over time, it can heal sciatica pain and help you feel better overall.

What is tennis elbow ?
Tennis elbow is a condition that causes pain around the outside of the elbow. It's clinically known as lateral epicondylitis. It often happens after overuse or repeated action of the muscles of the forearm, near the elbow joint.

How you u know i have tennis elbow?
Tennis elbow causes pain and tenderness on the outside of your elbow. You may also have pain in your forearm and in the back of your hand. The pain of tennis elbow can range from mild discomfort while using your elbow to severe pain that can be felt when your elbow is still.

How can sports massage help this get better?
Sports massage to the forearm is a very effective method of easing tennis elbow and healing it much faster than rest alone. Deep tissue massage will enhance circulation and combining this with friction therapy to the tendons on the elbow joint, positive results are seen.

Heres a few more things the sports massage can help improve .
Lymphatic drainage
Breaking down scar tissue
Increasing flexibility
Improving blood flow
Relieving tightness/tension
Helps improve performance
Helps boost your immune system

Traped Nerve!

Symptoms you may experience with a pinched nerve or feeling like your energy levels are low
If left untreated, it may lead to permanent nerve damage. The most common symptoms of a pinched nerve include neck pain that travels down the arms and shoulders, difficulty lifting things, headache, and muscle weakness and numbness or tingling in fingers or hands .

As well as neck and trap focused work we always prioritise detailed attention to the front of the body around the chest (pec major & minor, anterior deltoids, biceps) to free up the whole area.

The result - massage benefits are innumerable for those with physical aches and pains, especially in moving joints.
less forward roll of the shoulders, more freedom around the joint and awesome pain relief.the sports massage can help restore energy and many more things etc

🦵🦵If you started feeling that sudden calf cramp or pain down your heel, you may have and issue with your calves muscles. Whether you are a sporty person or not, your muscles can still suffer the consequences of your actions.

⚠⚠⚠If not treated, it can cause tendinitis resulting in a tendon/muscle tear.

Resting, stretching and exercises are good ways of prevention, BUT MASSAGE IS IMPORTANT for muscle release and pain relief.

After Hiking:

Massage benefits you after your hike for relaxation and muscular recovery.

Stress and weight to your legs and feet over long hikes could leave your muscles and joints swollen. Swelling can be reduced through massage therapy and improve muscle condition. Overuse of muscles and joints can cause pain and stiffness.

Massage also helps increase healthy oxygen by manipulation of muscles with blood flow.

Sports massage

constant training takes a toll on your muscles. Overtraining can lead to muscle rigidity. It is important to get sports massage once a week because not only does a sports massage supports muscle repair and decreases injury risk but also improves circulation and combats stress. It's a great way to relieve mental tension and relax after a hard workout. A good sports massage can restore mobility to injured muscle tissue and reduce fatigue. This allows you to train harder for longer.
