A bright and early start this morning as we entered into our first Cup Game - a result we are thrilled with and advancing into the next round 💪

🏆 Player of the match - Finley
Absolute solid performance from Fin, getting himself on the score sheet today and also some very impressive assists, he was on fire from the minute the game started to the final whistle.
We love it when Fin gets a goal, his smile beams from ear to ear while playing it cool; we know he’s screaming on the inside 🙌🏼

🏆 Magic Moment - Charley
First to get us on the scoreboard today, brilliant goal from Charley and also getting some impressive assists. Made some well timed runs and playing some brilliant 1 -2 passing setting up others for goal scoring opportunities.


🏆 Parents player - Toby
Toby impressed the parents today, never giving up and battling hard down the wing, nicking the ball and getting a last minute touch on anyone trying to get around him.

Great shift from the lads today — huge effort and a performance to be proud of against Plymouth YMCA All Saints. The energy, the work rate, the way everyone dug in… brilliant 💪⚽️
A very strong opponent today causing us problems but for the first time playing 9aside full rules was a learning curve for the boys and to come away with the result we had was impressive for the boys who never gave up.

🏆 Player of the match- Jack

Strong captain’s performance today from Jack who was instrumental from the back line with some solid tackles and passing through high up the pitch finding them wide attacking players.
Well done Jack 💪

🏆 Magic moment- George

Georges first game with us today, settled straight in with the lads and demonstrated some impressive footwork as well as a stunning goal cutting in and netting the ball in the far corner winning him the magic moment award.
Well done George 🙌

🏆 Parents player - Hugo

Incredible performance today from Hugo, dealing with some very impressive shots and commanding his box and back line very well. How Hugo got his hands to some top bin efforts this morning clearly impressed our parents and also many of the opposition.

🧡 💙 And we’re back! 💙🧡

A decent performance from the boys today, first game of the season with an away fixture and we had a few sleepy heads out there today 😂 Started slow and had to dig deep to match the desire of their opponents.
Struggled to find any openings from their keeper who did a fantastic job, however Joseph and Oscar both managed to break through and get us a couple of goals which the boys needed to find the passion and aggression needed to match the home team.
Torquay were a brilliant opponent today and had a fantastic setup, we look forward to welcoming them to Liverton for round 2.

🏆 Player of the match - Josh

Great game for Josh, who battled and made great use of his speed today attacking the wings and wide area of the pitch, some great chances on goal just unfortunate not to find the net.

🏆 Magic moment- Hugo (Martinez)

What a game for Hugo, some amazing saves and great distribution of the ball, winner of magic moment for an amazing diving save catching the ball midair which would of easily found the top corner of the goal. Well done Hugo!

🏆 Parents player - Leo

Our defensive rhino, playing up a year is always hard for any player but you would never think that for Leo, always puts up a fight and stands his ground with whatever opponent he’s up against, really impressing the parents today and winning the award.

Time to celebrate the end of our first ever season and wow what a season it has been! We are beyond proud with how each and everyone has grown and developed both individually and as a team.

Everyone has pushed themselves, supported each other and shown what real progress looks like.

What an incredible way to end the football season! Our children's football tournaments have been filled with fantastic teamwork, determination and most importantly fun!

It has been so wonderful to see so many smiles, exciting matches, and moments of encouragement between teammates and opponents.

🎉🏆🥇Wow wow wow!!!🥇🏆🎉

We only went and won our first ever tournament!

A huge well done to each and every single one of our boys today for the determination, drive, resilience and perseverance shown on one of the hottest days of the year.

Not only was it Hugo’s Birthday today, he certainly celebrated in style by making some outstanding saves, critically in the semi-final with 3 penalty shootout saves. Josh originally not wanting to take a penalty stepped up to take one and winning the penalty shootout for the team 💪 onto the final!!!
Our defenders, Jack, Leo and Oscar were all like rocks, giving their life and soul for the team today. Midfielders Josh, Finley, Charley, Lincoln and Noah, showed incredible determination, played some great football and chipping in with some phenomenal goals ⚽️ finally our strikers Harry and Toby. Toby ran his socks off and made some assists with some very impressive attacking team moves. And then Harry…… what can we say getting us the winning goal in that final making this Liverton U10s champions 🏆⚽️🎉 all of them had a big part in this achievement.

A massive thank you to all parents and supporters of our tournament and for such a great day. Big thanks to all those involved in the day with their support with multiple duties ensuring the day went smoothly!
