Dunham Forest Golf Club's 22 week summer rollup is an individual stableford golf competition with a difference.
Most weeks, 9 holes count out of 10 played. But the quirky rules changed each week - some holes gained double points, charity fund raising on another week allowed Mulligans, extra points for longest drive and nearest pin and 4 club challenges all formed part of the 22 week program.
In excess of 180 men and women competed for highest single handicapper, highest double figure handicapper, highest scoring lady and the highest overall score over 6 out of 22 weeks.
First awarded in 2017 in memory of Steve Bloomfield, this trophy celebrates inclusiveness of the game of golf and the 22 week summer rollup format. Guess who, in 2026, became the first lady to receive The Apollo Trophy as overall winner having unknowingly won 3 of the 4 categories in only her second summer at Dunham Forest Golf Club?.
