Great night thanks to everyone at Tamhi Tackling Awareness of Mental Health Issues for inviting us up 🖤🧡💜🩷
Girdwood Community Hub Football for All night.
Absolutely amazing atmosphere and positive vibes with CSP, Albert Foundry and Antrim and Newtownabbey engaged.
While our Good News at Girdwood tended to focus on youth teams we decided to expand our engagement and honestly it was such a fun enjoyable night with football, laughs and hearing from inspirational Coaches and volunteers who make Football for All happen.

Help Our Team Represent Northern Ireland in Scotland!
Support Antrim Newtownabbey Disability FC as we travel to Scotland this October.
We're raising £750 to help our senior squad (ages 16+) travel to Scotland to compete in an inclusive football tournament this October.
For our players, this is much more than just a football trip. It's an opportunity to represent Northern Ireland, build confidence, make new friendships, and experience the excitement of competing against teams from across the UK.
Many of our players face barriers that can make opportunities like this difficult to access. By supporting this fundraiser, you'll be helping to cover essential travel costs, ensuring that finances don't prevent our players from taking part in what promises to be a memorable and rewarding experience.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a real difference and bring us one step closer to our goal.
Our Target: £750
Thank you for supporting Antrim Newtownabbey Disability FC and helping our players continue to prove that it's Ability Not Disability.
Please donate if you can, and if you're unable to donate, we'd really appreciate you sharing our fundraiser with your family, friends, and colleagues.

On Thursday we had the opportunity to take part in an interview with researchers looking at the cost of taking part in sport and physical activity for children and young people with disabilities and long-term medical conditions across Northern Ireland.
It was a great opportunity to share our experiences at Antrim Newtownabbey Disability FC and highlight some of the financial barriers that many families face when trying to access inclusive sport.
The research team would now like to hear from more parents and guardians of children aged 4–16 with a disability and/or long-term medical condition. Your experiences, whether positive or challenging, can help shape future policy and improve opportunities for children and young people across Northern Ireland.
The interview takes around 30 minutes and can be completed over the phone or via Microsoft Teams. All information is completely anonymous, and a formal diagnosis is not required.
If you would like to take part or find out more, you can register your interest here: https://forms.office.com/e/U8bP1aHsr4
Please consider taking part and feel free to share this post with other families who may be interested. Every voice matters and can help make inclusive sport more accessible for everyone.
