Had a great day at Car Chase Heroes today.
Sadly I was too short to drive the Audi R8 V10 but got some great passenger laps.
The Subaru was cool, but the Furious GTR was absolutely awesome.
Duncan, the instructor I had in the GTR was a legend too 👌
Can't wait for the next one 💥

Finally a good race day!
Round 1 at Whilton Mill Kart Club this weekend saw a grid of 42 and me racing from the back on novice plates while I get to grips with the new kart.
Heat 1 - P27 to P26... My first lap bad luck struck again and I was taken out putting me a lap down 🙄
Heat 2 - P30 to P16... Managed to avoid the carnage and make my way through the pack nicely
Heat 3 - P29 to P11...
Really pleased with my progress in this race, I pushed hard 💪
This meant that even with the poor result in the first heat I qualified straight into the A final, something we didn't think would be possible this weekend 😁
Final - P22 to P19... Got settled into a good rhythm, but was lacking a bit on strength and energy after a long day! Got pushed wide into a corner sending me across the grass, but managed to keep it straight and rejoin only losing a couple of positions 💪
This result meant I finished as the highest placed novice 🏆

Tough first minimax race at Kimbolton - as it's a track that's on the British Champs calendar there was a super strong grid of 32.
Heat 1 - got binned off
Heat 2 - got binned off
Final - got binned off
Needless to say it was a disappointing day, and despite not having any expectations going in to the weekend it was frustrating to say the least.
Still, I didn't look out of place and kept my head up throughout 💪
On to the next one - Whilton Mill in a couple of weeks with another full grid.

2022 plans are well underway 🤪, and whilst I know it will be the toughest year for me, I'm super excited for the challenge.

We have a great support network and I can't wait to hit the ground running. My first minimax race is next weekend at Kimbolton, with the strongest minimax grid I've seen so far 😲😬

Tricky day wet testing at Whilton today 🌧️
With lots of groups we only got 7 min sessions and less than an hour track time all day. I struggled to get the tyres to work and we couldn't quite dial in the setup.
We knew I'd struggle in the wet being small and young, but Dad still moaned a lot 🤣
On the plus side my strength seems to be getting better!
Fingers crossed for a better day out next time 💪
