Our final month of the season saw us play four league games, winning them all, scoring 22 goals and conceding just 2 in the process.
Here are our POTM’s for May, classy performances all round 👏

Our penultimate player of the month for the month of April is…
🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁
AINS!
April saw Ains win player of the match in the cup final with a display dominating her box, including making a save of the season contender. It also saw her keep two clean sheets in the league against Deanshanger and Harpole ✋👏
As well as her accolades on the pitch, Ains is responsible for all the organisation behind the scenes. We massively appreciate all the hard work she puts in to ensure everything always runs smoothly. On top of this she jointly runs the social media and organises all our amazing socials. What can’t she do?! (Call strangers is the answer, that’s a Sarah job 😉)
Here are the reasons why her team mates voted for her:
She has made some incredible saves this month, has had clean sheets and works behind to scenes to smash the socials and is just pretty awesome!
Keeps team D in check. She is the best social media queen too!
Kept her head during times previously she wouldn’t have. Plus she stayed determined and committed despite being injured.
Gets battered and bruised week in, week out. Some great saves this month. Slaying all day is our AinssssSLAY. ❤️
Ains has been a real trooper this month playing in difficult matches whilst carrying injuries. She has also done so much off the pitch too with regards to social media posts and communication. I couldn’t think of a more deserving team mate to win POTM this month 👏👏
Some amazing saves in the past few games, great mentality in the final playing through injury!
Apart from the fact she’s got one of the top clean sheets in the whole league, she made an incredible save in the cup final. Football aside, she is an unsung hero for the amount of social media that she has done theoughout the whole season. Her media posts are spot on and her count down to the cup final was second to none. She deserves recognition for the time and effort she puts in outside of football to support the team both social media wise, socials and the general administrative tasks that are necessary for the smooth running of the team

The ladies end their campaign with their 14th league win, ending on 43 points of a possible 48 👏
With several players unavailable, it was the first time all season we haven’t had a full squad. Only 3 subs coupled with the blazing heat meant use of roll on/roll off subs was going to be needed to cope with the conditions. Whilst it was a bit of a slow start to the game, likely due to the incredible heat, the ladies soon got the ball down and started playing. A ball from Hayley (making only her second appearance all season) through to Rusty saw her cut inside the defender and place it into the top corner to break the deadlock. A scramble in the box saw Lou Chan poke home a second, an accidental Rusty assist this time with her face 😜. 2-0 at half time.
It wasn’t long into the second half before that became 3 when after some nifty footwork on the edge of the box, Oggy slid a ball through to Evie who slotted it home. Rusty got her second of the day via an Evie assist for 4-0. Hayley then fed a ball into Coleman who made it 5-0, giving the ladies a comfortable lead. Having been promised a stint up front, the second half drinks break saw keeper Ains hand her gloves to Hayley and lead the line alongside Coleman. At 5-0 down Silverstone seemed to come into the game a little more, pulling one back as they got in behind. Hayley did dive (if you haven’t already heard) and got a hand to it but couldn’t keep it out. Silverstone created a couple more opportunities but failed to convert these. Jets had more chances too, Ains notably nearly converting an Evie ball at the front post only for the defender to get her toe in first.
A tough game for all with the conditions at play, but credit to both our ladies and those of for the effort and determination on display regardless 👏
Shoutout to our player of the match Izzy, who won multiples challenges, bombed up and down the wing all game despite the heat, played some lovely one-twos and should’ve capped her performance off with a goal but for her selflessness. Top performance and sees her win POTM in both the first and last game of the season 👏
With both Kirsty and George hanging up their boots and playing their last game for Jets today, we would like to thank them both for their phenomenal contributions over the past 3 seasons 👏
We would also like to thank everyone who has supported us in any way this season. You’ve contributed to the incredible season we’ve had and we appreciate the support so much 💙💛

Our penultimate match sees us equal our biggest win this season 🟰🔟🤙🏻
With Heyford winning the league on Sunday confirming our second place finish, the ladies did not allow this disappointment to affect their performance on the pitch. This was a high energy, dynamic and ruthless display that encapsulated our incredible season ✈️
Within minutes, a Porter corner was met by the head of Oggy to put us 1 nil up; a familiar sight this season. Moments later Coleman’s long throw was flicked on by Oggy with Sarah meeting it to volley home. Goals 3 and 4 were a mirror image of the first; a hat-trick of headers for OGGY OGGY OGGY OI OI OI! Coleman added a fifth beautifully caressing a strike from the edge of the box in off the post. A Coleman shot saved by the keeper saw Evie follow in to add a sixth from a yard out. A lovely ball from Kel found Coleman just inside the box who perfected a first time finish lobbed into the top corner 🔥
The second half saw Jets add 3 more. A well measured ball from Sarah through to Rusty saw her in behind dispatching the chance for 8-0. Hungry for more, Rusty then picked up a ball from Coleman and fired it into the far corner for 9. Returning the favour, Rusty set Coleman up to smash us into double figures for the second time this season to complete her hat trick and round off an exquisite evening for the Jets ✨🪩
A dominant performance with a number of different goal-scorers and players getting assists, as well as yet ANOTHER clean sheet for team D ✋
Shoutout to our player of the match Tweedy who bombed up the flank all game, put in some exceptional balls and was a whisker away from getting onto the scoresheet herself 👏
Shoutout also to Oggy and Coleman for their hat tricks 🎩🎩
