Next month it is time for our popular and very competitive Mixed Doubles tournament, open to pairs from small clubs. Sunday 19 April, arrive promptly at 9.45 for a 10.00am start.
The event is always over subscribed so please get in touch soon to book your place. Contact details on the poster.

Due to a mix up over dates, the free starter cardio tennis session didn't happen last week. But we can promise it is DEFINITELY on next Tuesday 14th April! Again, please let us know if you are interested (message or comment). We can promise it will be a fun and friendly session. 🎾

NEW CARDIO TENNIS SESSIONS. The club's lovely coach Ollie has kindly agreed to run Cardio Tennis sessions starting in April, on Tuesday evenings 6-7pm. The first session on Tuesday 7 April will be free - numbers are limited to 12, please get in touch asap if you want to attend.
From Tuesday 14 April onwards the session will run weekly, bookable online in the usual way, £7 per week (£9 for non members).

Clubspark / Northampton Tennis4All / Coaching / Summary Cardio Tennis is a high energy group fitness session that combines music and tennis with cardiovascular exercise. Delivering the ultimate full body workout, Cardio Tennis is fun, social and designed to get you moving.

April is the start of the new tennis season, with a summer of long light evenings of playing to look forward to.

Despite the weather turning against us, we had a great day's tennis on Sunday for the 2025 Heyford Cup. Congratulations to the winning pair - Chris and Bethany from Kettering, who beat Max and Ellie from Duston United Tennis Club in the final.
Thanks also to Gavin for running the event as always and to Andy for taking some great photos. Some lovely action shots (and a few funny faces....).

As the nights get lighter and the temperatures a bit warmer, of course everyone's mind turns to tennis!
There's lots going on at Nether Heyford Tennis Club this year. Regular weekly social sessions open to all members:
- Monday 10-12 Walking Tennis
- Monday 7-9 Men’s Night
- Wednesday 2-4 Ladies Match Practice
- Wednesday 7-9 Club Night (mixed age and ability)
- Friday 10-11 Ladies Morning
- Saturday 10.30-11.30 Adult Coaching (beginner to improver level)
- Sunday 9.30-12 Club Morning

We've also got a few competitions planed:
** Sunday 13th April - the Heyford Cup open to mixed pairs from small clubs across the county. Already fully booked but spectators welcome to enjoy some great tennis.
** Sunday 22nd June - the Battle of Heyford. Heyford members only - two mixed teams battle it out across a range of singles, doubles and walking tennis rounds. Great fun and open to members of all abilities.
** Club champs - annual Men's, Ladies and Mixed Doubles tournaments held in the autumn. Dates tbc.
