The Northampton EM men team has worked diligently and fought for every point, but Nottingham Casualties demonstrated consistence thought the whole match.
Northampton team made an impressive comeback in the third set, recovering from 7-15 to close the set 25-20. In the forth set, the visitors took back the lead, winning the whole match.
Team is now heading to Christmas break, aiming to return stronger for the next game in 2026.

The EM ladies wrapped up their season in style with a dominant performance in their final game. Right from the first whistle, the team displayed impressive teamwork and determination, securing a comfortable win in the first set.
Despite a slightly shaky start in the second set, the girls regrouped and rallied behind the powerful serving of their team captain, ultimately pulling ahead to claim another solid win. The third set continued the trend, with the team showing no drop in energy or focus. Their skills and cohesion were on full display as they sealed the match with another confident set victory.
After the game, the coach expressed her pride and gratitude: βIβm incredibly proud of the girls. Itβs been a privilege to coach this team and witness how much each player has grown. Their dedication, improvement, and unity have truly made this a special season.β

The Northampton team made their way to Nottingham to compete in the final game of the season. Both teams had performed exceptionally well throughout the season, and the match was set to be a formidable challenge for everyone involved.
In the first set, Northampton completely lost their rhythm, allowing the home team to secure the set with an impressive score of 25-12.
However, Northampton made a strong comeback in the second set, maintaining their lead until the end. The Casualties exhibited a powerful finish, clinching the set with a score of 26-24. This tied the season record, leaving Northampton two sets down.
Nevertheless, this setback inspired NVC, leading them to triumph in the third set with a score of 25-16. Wojciech, who later earned the MVP title, showcased his skills by serving 12 consecutive times, instilling hope in Northampton to turn the match around.
The fourth set began competitively, as both teams displayed impressive volleyball skills. However, the Casualties managed to establish a significant lead, ultimately securing both the set and the match with a final score of 25-19.
The Northampton team played admirably, demonstrating areas where improvement is needed, and now they look forward to a well-deserved summer break.

What an incredible game it was!
The top two teams on the leaderboard faced off in Northampton, competing fiercely for crucial league points.
The first set showcased the impressive skills of both teams, revealing the intense competition that characterized the match. The visitors managed to gain the upper hand towards the end of the set, winning narrowly with a score of 23-25.
In the second and third sets, the Northampton EM men's team applied significant pressure on their opponents with strong defensive plays, allowing them to secure both sets comfortably with scores of 25-22 and 25-20.
Nonetheless, Hermitage was determined to fight back, battling for every point in the fourth set, which reached a tense 24-24 tie. The away team then won two rallies, forcing the match into a tiebreak.
The fifth set can always swing in different directions. Hermitage started off strong with a score of 5-8. However, Northampton managed to rally and take the lead at 13-12. Unfortunately, a series of mistakes in receiving and attacking cost the home team the points they needed to finish the fifth set and the match. Northampton narrowly lost another set by just two points.
This match undoubtedly showcased two of the best teams in the league, featuring a high level of volleyball with exceptional attacks and remarkable defensive plays. Northampton remains at the top of the table, with the championship set to be decided in the final games of the season.
The MVP award went to #54 Mykhail Solod.
