22nd Northampton Boys' Brigade The 22nd Northampton Boys' Brigade has been working with boys & young men in Far Cotton for over 90 years.

The BB is a family, we believe children & young people should experience 'Life to the Full' as they learn, grow & discover in a safe environment.

Tonight at the 22nd our Anchors and Juniors found out about Fair-trade.

✝️ We carried out an egg-speriment reminding us that we should be able share what we have in God's world and look out for each other.
🍫We made chocolate hoop chocolate cakes using Fair-trade and Rain Forest Alliance ingredients.
Coloured some products and enjoyed the 🧩 jigsaw game.
We welcomed two new Anchors, we hope they enjoyed themselves and join us again 😀

Company & Seniors took on the Minute to Win it ✝️Parable themed programme, creating their own modern day Parable.

Plus loads of fun and laughter as they challenged each other 🐑🪙🏠

Well what an action packed night we've had...
It was great to welcome back some of our Anchors after the holidays 😀

Anchors and Juniors enjoyed a Harvest themed evening.
They got active playing
🥦🥕🥔🌽Vegetable Medley saw them racing each other in a circle
🥕🥦learned about vegetables that grew under and above ground.
Created their own scarecrow biscuit, watched The Parable of the Sower ✝️ finishing with a memory game.
Great work everyone 👏

Company & Seniors discussed what Fair-trade is about, working out what goods are fairly traded.
A game of Breaks and Ladders & the chocolate game was followed by our reflection on Love your Neighbour ✝️
A game of four square and corners completed their evening.

It was amazing to see all the food contributions from our young people, their families, our leaders and supporters for our Harvest Thanksgiving on Sunday. Our contributions will join those of our church family supporting Food Aid Far Cotton.
Thank you all so very much.

We look forward to seeing you all again next week.

It was brilliant to be back at BB.
Anchors and Juniors played getting to know you musical chairs, created a chatterbox shared and gave thanks to God for what they did during the Summer. Running around games were fun and we enjoyed a donut snack too.

Company & Seniors took on a Tower of Questions followed by Bridges not Walls recognising we need to be peacemakers.
Donuts were demolished as they worked in teams.
A few games of corners completed the evening.

Thank you for a brilliant time together 😀
We missed those of you who couldn't be with us, we look forward to seeing you next week.

We're back to BB tomorrow night - we cannot wait to see you all for some fun & games & exciting activities over the coming weeks.

If you are able, please remember to bring an item for our 'Getting Involved' for Harvest supporting Food Aid Far Cotton.
Don't forget to bring your form, subs & membership fee too - that will be very much appreciated :)

What a brilliant afternoon we have enjoyed promoting Boys' Brigade⚓️
We met lots of young people and families as we shared what BB is about with some craft activities and of course some sweets
Sue spoke in a podcast too...🎤

We hope that we get to meet some of them again when we return on Wednesday

We hope you have had an enjoyable Summer, having fun & adventures & are looking forward to heading back to school.

This means it's almost time for us to return to Boys' Brigade.
We are back on WEDNESDAY, 9th SEPTEMBER, 6.00pm for our younger members & 7.15pm for the older ones.
We have sent letters with all the information you need.

We shall be at the Far Cotton & Delapre Community Council fun day on Sunday 6th September, why not pop along & say hello. It would be great to see you.
We have spaces in all age groups, why not come along and give BB a try...
